those 3 cant play together, peru gives away the midfield if we play with 3 fowards
farfan has to be a foward, pizarro is better than guerrero
meaning guerrero on the bench
and btw i said alva and vasallo would have trouble breaking the colombian defence, which is in my opinion one of the best in the continent
how have Farfan and Pizarro fared being the lone strikers?

i dont recall farfan being a lone foward for the national team
i think hes always had a another foward with him
same goes with pizza cant recall the last time he was a lone foward
the last foward peru used as a true lone foward was maestri in the oblitas days
thats when we had a good enough midfield to combat other team midfields

Argentina and Brazil will have trouble breaking the Colombian defense, let alone us.
I'd also leave Guerrero on the bench and have Pizarro and Farfan up top. But I'd put Farfan on the right side, like how he played against Milan. I've never liked him on the left too much, besides Colombia has Perea as right back and he's one of the few defenders that might have the speed to keep up with Foquita.

Do we? Anyone care to post last few WC matches against Colombia either home or away and what our record is against them?

the good thing about farfan is that he can attack on the left and on the right
leaving pizarro to take care of the center

i like farfan better on the left cuz then he can cut in and shoot but he should operate no both sides

So whas the official lineup? Ternero has called so many new names, would any of them be in the starting lineup? They should've called Gonzales-Vigil.

Remember that in both times we've played Colombia in Colombia where we won our last 2 WCQ games, we played with a 4-5-1 formation... so let's not here carried away here, playing a conservative game against them will be positive for us.

well mendoza and hidalgo wont be there against colombia or uguguay
this is good news for mendoza
it will let him focus on his club for a while and work up his mentality to getting a call back(if he earns it)

hopefully he wont come back to the NT no more, I think Ternerois doing good in not calling him, he doesnt give his best to the NT

peru will be more dangerous with a fully focused mendoza, he was our most dangerous foward in the first 2 matches he needs to regain that form
