I hate Manure, but still do not want this a$$ to takeover. He knows nothing about soccer and would completely ruin the club. Not that that would be a bad thing. ;0

Nah, let someone who actually cares about the sport ruin ManU.

Well, there goes ManU. It's been great knowing you, guys. Methinks this summer's transfer kitty just went into Glazer's bank account.

I always figured the Irish duo would figure out a way to screw SAF over, big time, and it appears they have...

This is devastating news for Manchester United. And only 9 days to go to the FA Cup Final!! :D:D

He now has 59% of the shares and is still answerable to the shareholders. He needs 75% for the offer to be unconditional. At that stage he can transfer all of the debt he has incurred onto the club. :D

If he gets 90% he can force all of the remaining shareholders to sell to him, take the club off of the market and begin to sell off the profitable parts :D

Schadenfreude thy name is Glaser!!

To all of you Americans - if you've ever harboured a yearning to hear 25,000 Brits belt out chants of "U - S - A!" at the top of their voices be sure to watch the Cup Final!

I can't stand ManU, but I wouldn't wish Glazer on anyone. I almost have some sympathy for them.

It started off with the big 6 clubs.
Last season, it became the big 5 clubs.
Recently, it became the big 3 clubs.
Not soon after, it is going to become the big 2 clubs?

Thats how I feel. Sure, I hate ManU but Glazer is fat cat scum with no interest in football. As much fun as it would be to kick ManU fans while they're down (just take a look at the doom and gloom over on their boards) especially before the FA Cup final but nobody deserves to have this happen to them. I just imagine how I'd feel in their place. :(

Only if Glazer gets 75% and can incorporate the debt he incurred to make the deal into the club. That's the major worry. Right now he as good as runs ManU, but the debt is not the club's.

Maybe the Irish duo insisted he fire Fergie if they were to sell to him? Seems plausible. They get their revenge and not so much backlash. Sort of like when Jerry Jones bought the Cowboys. One of the stipulations in the deal was that Tom Landry be let go by the current ownership, i.e., Bum Bright. That's why Tex Schramm did the deed on the golf course in Austin.

I'm with you mate. Anything bad for the mancs is good for us. If they were an injured horse I'd shoot them!

Oh, I don't think Chelsea's B team is quite that good yet. Give us some time though. ;)

What I don't understand is the way this prick does not care about fans feelings.
Well, Manchester fans, if you can't stop the rape, enjoy it.
Who knows, probably this dude will turn out to be a good sugar dady.

I am sure glad that I was able to spend 35 quid for a membership to a private club rather than buy shares of the club that is eventually sold out to someone who cares little about footie!

Can anyone spot me 400 or 500 million quid? I'd like to do the same thing to Liverpool. :D
