I don't know if this has been posted yet, thought I'd share the info.

The May 2005 issue of FourFourTwo, the one with John Terry on the cover has a pretty good article about the game.

The title is:
Liverpool vs Arsenal 1989
The greatest title decider ever -
relived by the winners and losers

They basically talk about the history the player and the build up to the game and how it was pushed back until the end of May. They've got some good pictures and some good pieces reliving the moment Thomas scored. Well worth the read if you get a chance to pick it up. It starts on page 106 - 110. You can skip the John Terry Article. :)

For those who have read it certainly discuss.

Picked it up just for that article. It was fascinating to read about that, especially the build-up and how calm Arsenal was. It also paints George Graham in a different sort of light from what we're used to hearing about. I liked how they talked with the supporters as well. That's an aspect of those big games you rarely hear about: the people in the stands hoping like hell that things will go their way.

I loved how they started the article with that bit from Fever Pitch (the movie).

Folks may get on my back for this, but that event makes me realize what it must be like for Chelsea fans these days. We'd gone 18 years without a title, and to win the way we did in '89 at Anfield was amazing. Makes me wish I had started following Arsenal earlier - although I wouldn't have been able to see the game.

After 50 years, they've finally won. Of course, we did it in much more dramatic fashion.

For those who don't have a subscription, you can go to B&N or a newsstand and pick it up. I'm guessing that it's out by now. They usually have the issues about 2 weeks after the subscription send out.
