Barra & the skull [Archive]

During the game last Saturday they showed someone from over on the Barra Brava side holding up a golden skull on the jumbo screen. What's the deal/joke/reference with that? Is that supposed to be a tribute to Josh? That's the only thing I could think of. If it is a reference to Josh I think that's funny as hell. It fits right in with Josh's comment during the post game show regarding his goal...."Freddy and Ben did all the hard work, I just got my ugly head on the end of it."

That's Morty our Guru. He's been with us for a little over a year. He got his skull covered in players signatures at MLS CUp '04. Lately he's been shacking up with Alicia. He's a baaaad Muther...Shut Yo Mouth.... :cool:

ps....check the Barra logo and you might understand.

Good to see Mort using UV protection on his eye sockets in the bright DC sun, or is it to protect the gaping holes where his eyes used to be from the fumes of the Anacostia? ;)
