I'm an American looking forward to our friendly in Chicago with England. I had the pleasure of attending the Scotland-Norway game last fall in Glasgow. The atmosphere was a lot better than the game, many of you will remember.
The Tartan Army had some great cheers and songs. I have dutifully taught my nieces "We'll be Comin' Down the Road." There were also some other good songs that I would not teach my nieces.
There was a good one about Posh Spice's fantasies including Gordon Strachan, among others. In addition, there was one about Maradona, that at first I could not figure out. Why would a drunken Scot care about Maradona? It ended, "he put the English out!" Ah, I see. It seems there is a verse to that one for every competition England has ever lost.
Does anyone know any links where I can get some of these songs and cheers? I've done some searching, but have come up empty. They could come in handy for the England game. Thanks in advance!
