I just watched the liverpool v chelsea match again and i have to admit the chelsea players were shell shocked by the liverpool roars. That was the real difference i think the fans putting chelsea off. Whenever passes were made to chelsea players the fans would boo and put them off. In the other game Milan lost but they didnt give the game 100% and maldini got injured. I think Milan will win the final because off stam, kaladze, nesta and maldini THESE are big game players unlike liverpools defence i dont think is too much of a big game defence look at the sunday game we tore them apart and with gattuso playng he will be bullying them around then they have to deal with pirlo or rui costa.it wont be easy for the reds.

prediction 3-1 to Milan. Seedorf free kick and 2 shevchenko

AC Milan 137, Liverpool 3. :D

(OK, actually I think we'll see 'pool 1 - AC Milan 0. Just a hunch)

i would like Liverpool win if both Everton and them go into CL
would be cool if 5 English teams made it to group stages

I dont care who wins, I want goals. But If liverpool wins, they will have something to brag to us about.

Surely this can't be any worse than the Milan-Juve final from a couple years back, oie. So I think we'll see a goal. But probably just one. 1-nil Milan I say.

Liverpool will probably stop at around 10 goals:D I doubt Milan will get it into the attacking third, with Carragher back there:cool:

Milan-7, Liverpool-1.

Milan 2 'Pool 0

Milan will do its usual trick and lull 'Pool to sleep, then hit on the counter late in the first half. 'Pool will pressure throughout the second half, but Milan will break late again and seal it somewhere around the, oh I don't know, 85th minute.

I want Liverpool to win (underdog and all), but I think Milan will win 2-0.

Can somebody who remembers better than I tell me if R.Madrid were put right into the automatic qualifing spot when a similar situation happened a few years ago? If so wouldn't that mean that they would take our spot and push us down into qualifying like ManU while Everton dropped down to the UEFA Cup? I thought that was the case but given all of the pro-Pool sentiment here I may be mistaken.

If it doesn't matter to us, then I'd like Liverpool to win but otherwise Forza Milan.

So far, even if Liverpool win, they are still in UEFA Cup, although FA to lobby for fifth spot for English team.

But even if Liverpool were to win (they won't-0-0 Milan win on penalties), I haven't heard anything to indicate they would take our automatic qualifying spot. I guess stranger things have happened.

John's right. The FA would have to petition UEFA for a 5th spot. The earlier discussion with the FA centered on giving them Everton's spot, not one of the automatic one's. That's why Everton breathed a sigh of relief when they found out the FA wasn't going to screw them over.

Real finished fifth that year, but the Spanish FA gave them the last CL spot.
