She does, but a blonde Daisy? It just isn't right...well the casting of just about every character isn't right.

It's directed by Jay Chandrasekhar, best known for writing, directing, and starring in Super Troopers.
So there's a strong chance that it won't suck.

Man, I loved this show back in the day. I'd pick the General Lee over Kitt any day
Did anyone catch the reunion special back in 1997? I think Enos and Daisy got married or something like that.

If movie was shot sooner, I could have went to Drive In. It was like two movies on Sunday for six dollars per car. Now for luxiury, of sorts; I gotta go about an hour away. Others learn to metropolotianize (or metanephos). At least, there is still Half-Price Tuesday.

It looks like it was written by the entire Broken Lizard crew. Being that Super Troopers is a new classic and Club Dred was a complete flop...this could be interesting.

What more could be done for this movie? The horse is dead and the Hollywood people keep beating it, why? How much did this film cost to make? Will it make a real profit for the studio?

I just watched it, thought it was pretty funny.. I've never seen the series, it's not on TV here as far as i know.
Started to think Jessica Simpson is amazing... she never used to do it for me, and that Newlyweds show sucks major balls. But in this film.. i don't care how stupid she is. I just want to touch her! a lot. Sorry Nick..!
I thought "Katie Johnson" and the Aussie chick were hot too.

The thing about this movie is how thoroughly it has nothing to do with the series. It has characters named Bo, Luke, Daisy, Boss Hawg, etc. but it's really just one of Chandrasekhar's New South-ploitation movies minimally wrapped up in a popular TV show so the suits have a marketing hook. Disgusting really. His films may suck, but he does have his muse, which is more than you can say for a lot of directors. He probably dreamed of working with Burt Reynolds like other directors might dream of working with Robert DeNiro.

Can't remember the girl who played the original Daisy but I do remember her having legs and a half.

Its on every night on one of the country music channels. My 13 year old son likes it. Though Daisy's shorts just don't seem so short anymore.
