Discussion for any up and coming show you plan to attend.

BFD: SF radio-station festival: This year Hot Hot Heat, Dredg, Alkaline Trio are doing the second stage. Foo Fighters and Jimmy Eat World are doing the main stage. Plus many many more.

Saosin/Anberlin/Acceptance:
06/21 – San Francisco, CA @ Slim's
06/22 – Sacremento, CA @ the Boardwalk
I've been a fan of Saosin's for 3 years or so and these guys are really really good and moving up which scares me.

Dredg/Circa Survive:
06/11 - Orangevale, CA @ The Boardwal
06/16 - Reno, NV @ The New Oasis
06/17 - Chico, CA @ The Senator Theatre
06/18 - Petaluma, CA @ Phoenix Theatre
06/19 - Santa Cruz, CA @ The Catalyst

Check out both bands people. Really good sh!t. One of the opening bands' members was in Rival Schools too so you know it's bound to rock.

My sister just called me and we're purchasing tickets tomarrow for Kings Of Leon at the Fillmore in SF on July 19th.

I can't imagine being entertained by the same two bands five times in eight days. And four straight nights? I mean even my favorite bands in the world I wouldn't even bother seeing two nights in a row, let alone four.

Actually there are 3 other bands touring with Dredg and CS. And if you heard there music....you'd want to too. I usually see some bands twice when they're around.

www.oxegen.ie - booked my ticket yesterday, the lineup is great and the festival atmosphere is absolutely top-notch. It's on July 8th-11th, although the shows are on for the 9th & 10th, the first & last days are mainly for pitching tents & getting very intoxicated... and trying to dismantle the tents while even more intoxicated!

The lineup so far: Green Day, The Frames, The Prodigy, Snoop Dogg, Queens Of The Stone Age, Kaiser Chiefs, Ian Brown, Kasabian, Razorlight, Bloc Party, The Bravery, Foo Fighters, Keane, The Killers, Doves, New Order, The Streets, Jimmy Eat World, Audioslave, James Brown, The Beautiful South, Josh Ritter, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Saw Doctors, Erick Morillo, Mylo, Two Lone Swordsmen, Slam, Black Strobe, Fish Go Deep & Tracey K, Brother J, Frank Jez, Hugh Scully, Deep Dish, LCD Sound System, Jacques Le Cont, Death in Vegas, Silicone Soul, Infadels, Nic Fanciulli, Brother J, Paul Taylor, Scott McNaughton, Al Gibbs, The Tears, Super Furry Animals.

Opinions?

that's a pretty good line-up. Have fun.

Killers are always good. I've seen them 5 times and they never fail.

Classics like Foo and Queens are always a must to catch.
