Pires 50 000 euro sweater

I heard that Robert Pires got fined more than 50 000 euro for wearing a Puma-shirt on a gathering with the french national team. is this old news?

and, regardless of that, isn't it bizarre and sad and shocking that Luis Aragones racist remarks towards Thierry Henry only cost him 5000 euro while Pires has to cough up ten times as much for wearing a sponsored shirt??

Yeah, it's been around awhile. It was actually for a TV interview IIRC. And somebody from Arsenal commented on the relation between the Aragones fine and this one. Don't remember who that was though.
