Introductions are just so lame.
And I don't even like soccer.
Nonetheless.
I came here looking for a hockey link and found the political forum.
The international flavour found here can only serve to offer more balanced perspective than Fox on International Womens' Day.
Well, I hope so. :D

lol well put...
But alas. this is a soccer thread :D
Perhaps a hockey forum would be more appropriate ;)
But welcome anyways
I'm just jazzin ya. :) :)

I figure the fact that it does have a hockey forum within the larger... ummm... net qualifies my membership. ;)
Besides... I gain points because I have a boyfriend that actually calls it football AND - get this - my sister played for 3 years. When she was 5. :D

You should be ok after a few sessions with a licensed therepaist. THe politics forum does that to some people. :D
Welcome to bigsoccer from a hockey player/fan/stat guy.

Where exactly is Hanover Park? I was in Chicago recently a couple of times... and I am curious.
And merci for the welcome!
Some might suggest I already require the care of a licensed and bonded psychologist.
They're just crazy though. :D

Hanover Park is 30 miles nw of Chicago. It is right next to Schaumburg, which is pretty well known.
Hanover Park's claim to fame is fast food places that stay open late.

As someone who spends way too much time in the politics forum I can only wish you luck and suggest you keep a therapist or psychiatrist or both on retainer. :)

Thanks.
Those nights when logic and reason seem more alien than... Martha Stewart... I just remind myself that a heroin addiction would be worse. What with the needles, cost, and life of crime involved that is. :D
Actually though... from what I have observed there are those of course, that have signed their respective party memberships cards in blood... but there does seem to be a higher than average percent that haven't. The ones in the middle that still think.
Of course, optimism can be a fatal flaw. ;)
