You can't really be that shocked can you? The Lynx are the worst sports franchise in Toronto, run by people who have no interest in seeing soccer survive in the city, the Lynx are no doubt a tax right off for the ownership group. Now the lynx face the defending champion Montreal Impact next week to open thier home season. The are so far out of playoff contention that will anybody really bother to show up agianst Montreal, the season for the Lynx is over.

Ythe Lynx are no doubt a tax right off for the ownership group.

I've always thought that could be the only reason that they are sustainable for the Hartrells but maybe they were banking on MLS going under and the A League becoming the new NASL. Not on the cards right now but when Tampa Bay and Miami were contracted it looked like a possible future scenario.
