My vapours, theyre coming away at the soles.

Hi guys, in mid September I bought Chrome Vapour 1's. Now, approximately 7 months later, they're coming away at the sole on the side. I bought them in London when I was on holiday, an now i'm in South Africa. :rolleyes:

I think it's unacceptable for something that is originally 100 or so pounds, to fall apart so soon. What can I do about it? Will Nike do anything about it? How can I contact them? :(

Thats happened to some of my vapors 1s (i havent had any problems with the IIs but i have noticed alot more glue on the side of the boot!) especially the ones that i have worn a lot. I guess you can contact Nike. My friend had a pair of vapors that cracked at the bottom and Nike changed them. They just had to do some tests to see how often they had been worn or something. So give it ago.

I had the same problem, my guess was that my foot was to wide for the vapors..
maybe its the warmth in your country (dont get me wrong, i like warmth to :) )
but the sole of a vapor is just limed to the boot.
nut yes indeed, as you look at the price you pay and then after just 7 months it a pity for you money..

Heres a pic of them, its coming away on the inside of the left foot. I'm left footed. It's getting worse. :rolleyes:

I think its inevitable.. i had it on my right foot...
its just a common problem with those vapors ( I ) if you have an wide foot it will only fall apart faster.
i dont post a picture of mine vapors, it does hurt your eyes to see them suffering like that, with holes in them a split sole. It makes me feel sad.. :(

try the website or ring your local nike store. But to be honest it looks like you have worn those boots ALOT. I know that you have paid alot of money for the boots but when my friend sent his back it went on how many times he had worn the and they looked to see if the damage could have come from over use of the boot. So you'll have to see what they say i guess. But im sure a local sports shop would have an address for Nike.

i had the same problem.. mine was coming apart at the back of the heel it tore a little and i just stopped using them.. i bought the legends but didnt like thos either.. just got the PUMA KSL and im loving them. NO MORE NIKE FOR ME! (even though their shoes are stylish i feel that they dont put out a good product)

Ive noticed on my burnt orange vapors that there about to come away at the soles. Ive only been wearing them for like 2 months!!!!

I had this problem with my older pair of vapors.

I really need to contact nike about this problem

I havent had this problem with any of my later boots just my Vapor 1s ive notice more glue on the sides of the later models.

My vapors started to split at heel. Do you self a favour, save some time and a head ache, and get some shoe goop and fix it yourself.

No ive never had any holes. I kinda rotate my boots. The only boots that are starting to look a bit tatty now are my flame vapors. But thats because i have had them for 3 seasons now. So they have lasted well!!

and i think it maybe because you (and me :p ) have quite narrow feet so there is not that much pressure on the side of the boot. :)

Yeah those are the ones. I love those boots. But you can really see how they have improved the design since the earlier boots when you compare the 1s to the 2s. But they are class boots!! :-)
