It looks like the CSKA Moscow match was the last time the news was updated...???
http://www.psg.fr/en/news/news_en.html
If so, that's not an "English language" option; rather, it's running the website, and building the "PSG.fr" brand, the same way the on-field perfromance has been run this year. That is, piss-poorly.

True but at least we get that option. ;)
People in Marseilles don't have brains.......well not anymore.
Word is the majority got rid of them in the great 'Metal bird incident' of 1982.
Very tragic indeed. :( All those poor Marseillais, looked up in the sky and saw a giant metal bird that came down and took away some of their folks....
Needless to say, they burned those heretics who claimed that they lived inside the bird and condemned its existance. Anyone who spoke of that mystical beast, became cast out by the chief elders, never to return to the village of the damned.
Ever since then, to stop the flow 'people thoughts' of the 'outside world', the people of Marseille sold off their brains to a German consortium - to put in the heads of monkeys - who in turn would be used in experimental trials to determine if an anminal can run a French broadcasting company.
Needless to say, it was a huge success and now everyone in France enjoys TF1 on a regular basis, the Marseille folk are happy that the big Metal bird is gone and no-one in the village ever feels those 'thoughts' again.
:)
Happy days.........

PARIS (AFP) - Sat May 14, 06:04 AM ET
The last known source of Marseille beating PSG was found today by British archaeologist, Sir Reginald Sidebottom III.
A recent excavation to a site near the port of Algiers, discovered an early Laserdisc copy of zed match.
'Unfortunately, the picture is really terrible' recalled Sidebottom. It's clear that it has been here a long time, and has suffered a lot of wear and tear over the years. Clearly many locals did not know of its presence and those who did were probably mortified by its existence. No doubt it was hidden away so that it may never be seen again by humanity.
The so called 'Fable of Marseille' dubbed by many Parisian historians. Could well indeed be a hoax. A similar event happened in 1992, when a VHS tape found in Aubervilliers by a 12 year old child after rummaging through his dad's porno collection proved fruitless. 13 years ago, it was proved that the tape was nothing more than a man castrating a monkey, whilst a big breasted women poured liquor over the mans genitals.
Many scientists were somewhat fooled by the resemblance of the chimp as early Marseille man. 'It was harsh lesson', says Dr Christophe De Vilier, head of audio-visual studies at the university of Bordeaux. 'We were taken in and fooled, although many had believed that this is what they were looking for. I for one, was one of them....'
The so called story of 'Marseille beating PSG' was laughed off by many historians years ago - who claim that there was no sufficient evidence that an event like that actually happened.
'We can't know for sure' recounts David Bystron, head of Anthropological studies at the Sorbonne. 'There are many strange anomalies associated with such an artefact'. But we do know of various early 20th century French literature that does foretell of such an event. So maybe it is not within the realms of impossibility.'
The artefact soon to be moved to Paris, for closer inspection by local historians and technicians has been described by those in the media as 'The next Shroud of Turin.'
Local priest, Thierry Fransone, is not sure, but remains optimistic that it is of religious significance. 'Certainly it doesn't resemble anything to do with our saviour, Jesus Christ, although the entity of such an object, certainly opens the question to an act of some form of divine presence.'
The findings of the research are to be given to in the next 3 months to the National Archaeology Counsel of France, perhaps declaring once and for all if the footage is for real or if it is indeed another high-class fake.
'Even if it is a fake' says Bystron. 'We know that we are looking, but the more we do, the more you have to feel that it maybe just doesn't exist.'

I dont really like his style or agree with a lot of what he says but the France forum was definately kinda dead before he got here so I do give him sole credit for helping to make it prosper.
Yes, indeed, with his precious help, this board is on the right way for becoming a psychiatric hospital!

What do ya mean 'becoming'?, more like 'is'.... :D
I would take that back sunshine......You wouldn't have a Marseille subforum, if it wasn't for my assistance. ;)

Please, please continue....
The more crap you post, the more it increases up against the amount of times, I've gone and trolled on the Marseille forum.
If you are going to get out your delapidated farm house and start some humour, then bring some irony, sarcasm and maybe a hint of general wit about your game. I don't go in for this very base and ineffectual malarky.
I really don't know what's more pathetic, the fact you are trying to start a futile and pedomorphic argument, that I really don't want. Or that you are taking everything that I say on face-value....
Seriously, I don't like Spartak, I don't like Newcastle, doesn't mean I can't stop chatting to Mel or RS does it?
I would think long and hard before you stoll onto these boards and brandish your dick and state your claim for early trollish dominance on the PSG v L'OM front. Personally that is a side-dish for the sparking array of great chat these boards offer. I suggest you stop taking every little bit of witty sarcasm against your team with a pinch of salt and carry on as normal.
I may have a slight jibe now and again, but every here knows I'm having a laugh - Trolling is not in my nature, and hardly the persona I want to have for myself. I suggest you really lighten up, take that massive persecution complex you have and use it to power the Marseille forum, which has been declared officially dead for 2 months now.
So please can you do something constructive with that mushy mebrane of yours instead of trying to look tough....You probably are more intelligent and stronger than me, the honest thing - I really don't care - now unless you want to talk like rational and reasonable adults about PSG - I would recommend that you kindly ******** off.
Thank you.

Je parle un peu, mais that's not the point; look at the brand extension offered by ManU, Madrid and Barcelona; noone would submit that the Parisian French are more proud of their language than Barcelona Spanish are proud of Catalan; yet look at the multiple languages on their site; that's b/c this isn't sport friends, its sport business. And the single most profound reason why the football club in the number one tourist city on earth isn't as well-known as it should be (and, as a result, isn't as supported as it should be), is b/c it doesn't have a multilingual brand engine. Someone at the club is saying the same thing you are saying (i.e. "Learn French"), and that's weakening PSG's ability to not only compete, but to take advantage of Paris as a real destination for people and incorporate that interest in Paris into real revenue for the club, revenue they need more than non-French sides b/c of the tax issues in French football. In order to compete, they need to be able to mitigate he realities of French taxation on player wags with larger signing bonuses; the money for signing bonuese comes from authentic multiple ventures; the locomotive engine for those ventures must be a multi-lingual brand platform. Part of that platform is a multi-lingual site.
PSG also need to beign to think about moving content (game footage), on a PPV basis, to the site as well, for those that cannot access Canal + to watch the team wherever they are in the world...not unlike Liverpool and Chelsea and ManUtd and Barca...a move that shoiuld be even easier than it is for those clubs b/c Canal Group OWNS the damn club!
IOW, they need someone thinking along these lines in-house, everyday, all day. To me, these are simple things that should have been done years ago.
It makes one ask, what is actually going on at the club in terms of day-to-day operations such that things like this aren't being realized?

The Francophone world is big buisness though.
But yeah, they need English resources....A PPV streaming system like UEFA.com has would be a good addition - as well as news and crap like that.
Iirc, a few years back - the did actually have an English section on the site, that was updated regularly, but now it dissappeared. Odd.

The french are not money driven ... they don't try to make as much money as possible ... just enough to be in the green ... it's a different mentality ... funny as it sounds, they are also perfectionist at least on paper ...
yes, PSG could make zillions of money selling all kinds of stuff ... but they won't because I don't even think it has even entered their minds they could make more money with some better marketing.
it's just the way it is with those damn french.

You do?!
I've been in the Francophone world for a little more than a decade, so when it comes to keeping up with le PSG, I don't have too much to worry about. If I don't get something, I always have a dictionary handy.
Though, if PSG wishes to become a major player in world football, I would suggest what you've all been saying. A multilingual site, game highlights and more wallpapers! I was at the site today and they didn't offer much, unless I was in the Espirit Club. It wouldn't be wise for me to join, seeing that I live on the other side of the Atlantic and have no chance what-so-ever in catching a match.
By the way, the German clubs offer their site in Turkish and Chinese as well.
