By the way, the German clubs offer their site in Turkish and Chinese as well.

Well it doesn't take a genius to see why they have a Turkish language option.

But it begs down to this eternal question....

Are PSG marketable abroad?

Are PSG marketable abroad?

Maybe to the arrogant French in America, like me. I really can't see thousands of Japanese fans rushing to the airport when Letizi steps off the plane to play in one of the many tournaments PSG doesn't play in. It's like they're too cool to try. And I admire that.

However, I don't admire a team who does this and finishes 9th in the league...

I mean if MLS and D.C. United can get it right (understanding the need to be both English (http://dcunited.mlsnet.com/MLS/dcu/) / Espanol (http://dcunited.mlsnet.com/MLS/dcu/espanol/)), there's no reason at all for PSG to fail to do so.

Period.

They need not only English, but Chinese as well...as LEAST.

Vietnamese.....maybe? Arabic?

I think I can safely say why the MLS has dual-lingual functions. Half of America has signs and indeed speaks some form of Spanish. My trip to Los Angeles in 2001, was a journey into speaking the Spanish language. It hits you, the minute you land in LAX.

The issue here is clearly social. Let's start with English.. That's the biggest and most important language the world has to offer.

Oh btw: Saturn Ramonskoye in Russia have their site in English and Spanish. But that's maybe because they are Argie wannabees.... lol.

Yeah English and Spanish would be a good start, I'm even sur ethey could hire a guy to translate the site ine Japanese as well...Dunno why, you always find Japanese fans everywhere on every topic...

Maybe we could sign a Japanese player....

That would increase interest. Japan has some good players as well. I think they would fit in well in the PSG style of play.

Indeed; Barca's leading the way there (http://www.fcbarcelona.com/eng/noticias/noticias/n05061401.shtml)...and their version of the ESPRIT club (i.e. membership) costs 140 Euros...

Speaking of English, this may be way off the subject, but....

I don't speak French, I hope to know a little (enough to get by ex: simple phrases, words, emergency, etc) by this winter. I may be on my way back to Paris for a week during the winter months. If by chance I should see Les Rouges et Bleues in action, which supporters club should I stand with? I know about Authentiks, Krieg, Supras '91, Boulogne Boys '85, Lutece-Falco, Tigris Mystics, etc. Which of these would be the best for someone who is fluent in English, Fairly Well in Spanish and German, and is attending their first European football match?

I really do want to stand with the supporters, I can't watch football without doing that.

Sounds like PSG is just CHEAP! They don't spend on players, so why would they spend on making their website 1st class.

Mon dieu!!!
Sil vou plait!!!!
Coming from an Arsenal supporter, that's a complement.
Being cheap and doing ok versus spending alot and still coming up short (Champions League / Premiership). Out played in the Cup Final which was definitely a consolation prize for you guys.

I'll stick with us being cheap. if that's what it is.

Take it outside bub.....

Us Parisians care not for the quaint traditions of the Arsenal Gunners....or whatever they be called nowadays.

PSG are not cheap. Its been explained many times why they can't and won't spend more money. Until they learn to maximize their revenus things will continue as is.
