Two years ago, we got Beckham and Ronaldinho.

So who will be the big transfer of the off season?

Robinho
Van Bommel

Gerard.

Nah, I hear Barca want to keep him. ;)

How about:
Riquelme (a definite)
Robinho

Interesting to see where Van Bommel will end up.

Free transfer

If he isn't transferred, does he just magically appear at a new club nice?

When your contract runs out then he can go where he wants for no price.

Joaquin will fetch a pretty penny especially if he decides to go to Chelsea, but I think Adriano will break all the tranfer records this summer.
Robinho will be expensive, but I don't see him costing more than Joaquin or Adriano.

He is still transferring to a new club. I meant big as in the magitude of the transfer, but not necessary the amount of money involved. Several clubs are still lining up for him. Adriano is probably bigger, but he might have a chance to stay. Cassano probably moves somewhere too.

I dont think there should be any kind of probablys or maybes when determining who is the bigger deal, Adriano or Mark Van Bommel.

Adriano will be the big one I reckon, silly money to Chelsea.

Other 8 figure transfers imo will be

Gilardinio-Milan
Owen-Liverpool
Robinio-R.madrid
SWP-?
Joaqin-?
Essien-Man U
Hleb-?
