Just curious, is there a list somewhere online that details the Chelsea spending since Roman took over? I ran a Google search and did not find anything.

Billy, I was not whining. I just wish to compile a spending report. From a business angle... I wish to see if his money was well spent.

No it wasn't, he bought Chelsea.

Certainly, there are better sides to buy if you had that much money. Anyone that plays CM knows that!

Since I binned the original thread (and received a verbal thrashing), here are the figures:

Transfer Fees: 240 million pounds
Player Salaries: 203 million pounds
Chelsea Debt: 110 million pounds

553 million in two years, or just a shade over 1 billion dollars US.

Are you sure you won't bin this one too?

Why don't you guys worry about your own problems and leave the Champions alone?

Then he should help you out on the other thread you closed. Not only closing, the whole thread dissapeared like it was some kind of CIA top secret.

I doubt they made back 100mil. Stamford bridge isnt terribly big, so gate receipts arent terribly high. League cup should be about 5mil, premiership around 12mil. Tv deals etc. may be another 10mil. So definately less than 150mil, possibly less than 100mil. I dont see it ever becoming good business for Roman other than serving his ego. He will spend more money this summer and on next seasons wages than the revenue he will make. I say its a temporary fix, once he is bored with chelsea he will leave it and then theyll end end up in administration.

According to your numbers, he spent billion bucks already. Rest assured, no one spends that kind of money for ego or fun. It is in the news that he is not going anywhere.

Now would you kindly enlist your spending this season. Do it for your own good. You may find out who will really get bored and take a hike.
Hint: He is French.

He might not be leaving but I know for a fact that when Chelsea drop from fame you are going to support another team like the speed of sound!
