There are always a lot of them, you'd merely concede you actually like them - I don't speak about hypnotical songs that jam your brainwashed brain- but whenever you hear one of them you can't help singing it at least in your mind. And you kinda like it !

Super Trooper by ABBA,
very embarrassing but my mom was listening to that when I was a baby, probably my first musical souvenir...Says it all, other people would state that it is a Mozart sonata... :o

Alexandrie, Alexandra by Claude François
The man who sang "comme d'habitude" which was to become "My Way".

Songs by Boney M (I publicly apologise)

YMCA by Village People

Burning Heart (Rocky IV) by Survivor...

OK, this thread was the worst idea ever... *buries himself alive*

hmmmm, this thread again.

let see, we've had this thread many times.
we have a worst albums you like thread (pretty much the same as this)
we have a sh!t movies you like thread (same idea, again)

can't we just start a thread on threads you're embarassed to post in and be done with it?
or sticky all the guilty pleasure threads?

ok, i'm sorry to be a smarta$$. :D:D

There was ? I've only checked the first page of thread lists.

I concede that this great idea came into my mind after a lengthy and thorough analysis of the ********** films thread... ;)

anything by Kate Bush or early Fairport Convention. You've got to connect to your inner-wuss, thats easy when you're on your own but listening to that kind of stuff around your mates will get you some quizical looks

Super Trooper by ABBA

I think a lot of people are closet ABBA listeners. Most dudes will deride them in public when amongst their Boys, but secretly sing along in their cars when alone.

"Hold On Loosely" by .38 Special.
"Roll With the Changes" by REO Speedwagon
"Life in a Northern Town" by Dream Academy
"Stop Playing Games With My Heart" by Backstreet Boys
"I'm In You" by Peter Frampton
"Middle of the Night" [title?] by Climax Blues Band
"Kite" by Kate Bush

I could go on and on. Lots of one-hit wonders I heard on the radio and was too embarrassed to ask "who's this"?

There's no reason to be embarrassed by liking Since U Been Gone.

I, personally, don't like the song, of course, but I knew a guy once who liked "Sugar, Sugar", by the Archies.

Deplorable... ;)

My bad. As I said, I'm usually too sheepish to ask. ;)

It's 'rocks.' ABBA is a whole which transcends the individuality of its members...by submerging any hint of individuality in brassy, studio-slick gloss.

I'm never ashamed of liking early Fairport--but I have difficulty explaining--

Stranger on the Shore-- Mr. Acker Bilk

Stumblin' In-- Suzi Quatro

Last Date-- Floyd Cramer

Sunday Morning-- Spanky and Our Gang
