Liverpool's Djimi Traore to PSG?

Après des débuts difficiles à Liverpool, le défenseur français, Jimi Traoré, semble trouver sa place dans le collectif des Reds. A 25 ans, l’ancien lensois semble pourtant prêt à vivre une nouvelle aventure.

"J’aimerais découvrir autre chose, explique-t-il au journal Le Foot. L’Italie m’attire, mais le PSG me fait rêver. Le club a connu une saison de galères, mais j’aimerais vraiment porter ses couleurs un jour", a-t-il avoué.

After some difficult debuts for Liverpool, the French defender, Djimi Traore, seems to have found his place in the Reds team. The 25 year old, former Lens player would seemignly be ready to begin a new adventure next season....

"I would like to discover an other choice", he explained to 'Le Foot'. "Italy, attracts me, but PSG would be a dream move. The club, has had a season of problems, but I would really like to play in their colours some day," he acknowledged.

Paris dream of Kalou?


Malgré l’effervescence à Paris suite au départ de Francis Graille remplacé au poste de président par Pierre Blayau, le PSG par l’intermédiaire de son directeur sportif Alain Roche poursuit les prospections dans l’optique de la saison prochaine.

Ainsi Paris se serait mis sur les rangs pour l’auxerrois Bonaventure Kalou tout comme le sont déjà Lyon et Monaco. De plus, selon "Foot Transferts", le club parisien s’apprêterait même à formuler une première propostion à l’intention de Guy Roux. Le club dela capitale devrait proposer au club bourguignon environ 8 millions d’euros.

Alors que Lyon a déjà l’accord du joueur, Paris priviligie par l’intermédiare d’Alain Roche un accord avec la direction auxerroise. On doute que la façon par laquelle Lyon a approché Kalou plaise à Guy Roux, et ce dernier pourrait bien préférer le céder au PSG.

Despite the effervesance in Paris following the departure of Francis Graille, replaced as president by Pierre Blayau, PSG through their sports director Alain Roche, is looking into perspective for next season.

Therefore, Paris have already staked their claim for Auxerre foward Bonaventure Kalou, already touted by Monaco and Lyon. According to 'Foot Transferts', the Parisian club would appear to make a first bid to Guy Roux for the player. The capital club, would have to offer around 8m euros to prise him away from Auxerre.

Whilst Lyon already have an agreement on the player, Paris would be somewhat in a priveldged position under an Auxerre - Alain Roche agreement. On would doubt however the way in which Lyon approached Kalou pleased Roux, and at this moment, it could well profit PSG.

Anthony Le Tallec

Liverpool's Anthony Le Tallec has become the second Premiership striker in a week to suggest that he will look to move to Paris Saint Germain if he cannot make himself a regular in England.

Following Jeremie Aliadiere's comments that he would prefer a move to PSG if he cannot become a key player for Arsenal, Le Tallec has confessed that the capital club is the only option for him in Ligue 1.

"I will take stock with my agents soon about my future," Le Tallec told But!.

"I must play and show myself, but this summer will see a lot of departures from Liverpool, so we will have to see the officials' position.

"I would love to stay here because it is a great club, but at the moment my situation is vague.

"I will probably not be coming back to France, except to go to PSG - which will always be the club of my heart."

Liverpool and Paris Saint Germain are both understood to be keeping tabs on Middlesbrough defender Franck Queudrue, who admits a move to another club could bolster his international ambitions.

The enigmatic full back has been one of Boro's best players this season and he has been a consistent performer since arriving at the club from Lens in 2001.

He spent a season on loan at The Riverside but he became an instant hit with the fans and manager Steve McClaren paid £2.5 million for his services.

He has since developed into one of the most consistent left backs in England and this has not gone un-noticed both home and abroad, with interest coming from Anfield and Parc des Princes.

Queudrue, who was recently wanted by Ireland, has international aspirations but he has thus far been ignored by France and this is an obvious concern to him.

"Playing in a club with more media coverage could help me catch the French team coach's eyes," the 26-year-old told But!.

"He only goes and watches the big teams with the big players."

French Frank, as he is collectively known by the Boro faithful, says he is happy on Teesside but would consider an 'attractive' offer.

"I feel at ease at Middlesbrough. But we will think about if attractive offers come.

"I have no real propositions, but recently I heard about Liverpool's and Paris Saint Germain's interest.

"That is rumours and my agent has not received a call.

"I don't know Liverpool very well, I should ask information from Djimi Traore or Bruno Cheyrou.

"I know Paris a little more. I was born in that town and I would not dislike a comeback to France, above all if clubs like PSG show an interest."

Queudrue's agent Gregory Dakad insists that nothing is in the offing for his client.

"He is playing well and he has attracted interest, but that is natural," he told skysports.com.

"But these stories in France are just rumours.

"For the time being he is doing well and is happy, but we are hoping to have talks over a longer deal at some time in the near future."

Queudrue signed a new deal last year and has three years left on his current contract.

Walter Pandiani


Paris Saint Germain are ready to rival Birmingham City for the signature of Deportivo La Coruna striker Walter Pandiani.

The Uruguayan forward is on loan at St Andrews and Blues boss Steve Bruce wants to tie him to a permanent contract in the summer.

With other Premiership clubs, including Middlesbrough and Newcastle United, reportedly in the frame for the South American, Depor will be hoping for an auction for his services.

Deportivo rate Pandiani at around the €5 million mark and PSG are monitoring the situation closely.

If Reinaldo is off-loaded then a bid is expected from the French capital club.

The 29-year-old will have the final say over his future and has adapted well to life in Birmingham.

PSG need help on many levels. Basically they need a serious attitude adjustment. So who ever they bring to Paris, they need to be passionate and want to don the PSG kit.

M'Bami to Liverpool or Chelsea???

Liverpool et Chelsea pourrait avoir à se "battre" cet été pour obtenir la signature du parisien Modeste M’Bami.

Le milieu de terrain camerounais intéressait Chelsea en décembre dernier avant sa blessure, qui avait mis un terme à toute possibilité de rejoindre Stamford Bridge en janvier.

José Mourinho semble encore intéressé par le joueur de 22 ans mais il devra faire face à la concurrence de Liverpool où Rafa Benitez l’apprécie énormément.

Le coach espagnol aurait déjà contacté M’Bami, qui ne cache pas son envie de quitter Paris cet été.

Arsenal avait été également intéressé par l’ancien sedanais, et pourrait se joindre à la "bataille".

Marseille et Lyon sont aussi sur sa piste, mais les clubs anglais ont un attrait financier bien plus important.

The Cameroon midfielder interested Chelsea last December before his injury, which had put an end to all possibilities of joining Stamford Bridge in January. Jose Mourinho, again seems interested by the 22 year old, but will face competition from Rafael Benitez, who appreciates him enormously. The Sapnish coach would have already contacted M'Bami, who has not hid his desire to leave Paris this summer.

Arsenal have equally been interested by the former Sedan player, and could also join in the 'battle'. Marseille and Lyon are also keeping track, but the English clubs have a greater financial muscle.

Landrin set to join PSG!


Selon Aujourd’hui en France-Le Parisien, Christophe Landrin serait le premier renfort du PSG pour la saison prochaine. Libre de tout engagement avec Lille en fin de saison, le milieu de terrain du LOSC aurait même déjà signé son contrat de trois ans à Paris la semaine dernière.

L’arrivée de Landrin ne devrait être officialisée par les dirigeants parisiens que la semaine prochaine.


According to today's France-Le Parisian, the Lille midfielder, Christophe Landrin, will be the first PSG recruit for next season. With his contract at Lille set to end at the end of the season, the LOSC midfielder has already signed a 3 year contract with the Paris club last week.

The arrival of Landrin, will not be officially announced by PSG until next week.

Toulalan to PSG?

Comme il le souligne dans Foot Transferts : "Mes contacts les plus chauds sont avec le PSG et Lyon. Lyon a pris contact il y a deux ou trois semaines avec mon agent. Paris s'est intéressé à moi un peu plus tôt dans la saison. (...) Je pense que si j'avais le choix, j'irais plutôt vers Lyon. Néanmoins, ce n'est pas ma préoccupation principale pour l'instant, je pense avant tout à sauver le FCNA." Une chose est certaine, Jérémy Toulalan, auteur d’un but en 30 matchs cette saison, est sans aucun conteste un joueur d’avenir sans équivalent à son poste.

Paris, was interested in me at the beginning of the season. I think that if I had a choice, I would rather go to Lyon. One thing is certain, Jeremy Toulalan, scorer of a goal in 30 matches this season, is without doubt, a player with enormous future potential.

This guy will be a good signing, especially if Modeste goes. Playing him in a 5 man midfield with Landrin, Cana, JR and a new right winger would seriously rock!

The problem is, Lyon will have the better muscle to get him, than us. If, they hold onto Essien of course.

Gardiens

Lionel Letizi
Au club depuis 2000, le gardien a prolongé son contrat avec le PSG de deux années supplémentaires. Le voilà lié avec le club jusqu’en juin 2007. Lionel Letizi aura 32 ans le 28 mai prochain.

Jérôme Alonzo
Au club depuis 2001, il sera en fin de contrat en 2007. La doublure de Lionel Letizi se pose beaucoup de questions sur son avenir. Il aurait bien aimé trouver un poste de titulaire. S’il n’y a pas d’offres intéressantes, il devrait rester à Paris la saison prochaine : « je crois vraiment qu’il se trame un truc énorme ici. »

Mohamed Benhamou
Formé au club, il est en fin de contrat. Le voilà libre de ses mouvements, puisque le PSG ne l’a pas reconduit.

Goalkeepers

Lionel Letizi - Just signed a new contract, one of best players this year. Will stay as no1.

Jérôme Alonzo - Signed up until 2007 - having lost his regular first team place under Vahid to Lionel, may be uncertain about his future, to find a regular first team place. However he is happy and looks to fight for his place as no2.

Mohamed Benhamou - Contract is up at the end of the season - He will leave as a free agent.

LES DEFENSEURS
Stéphane Pichot
Arrivé cette saison en provenance de Lille, il a disputé 24 matchs, dont 22 comme titulaire. Il est sous contrat jusqu’en 2007, et devrait donc rester… plus sûrement pour jouer les doublures.

Bernard Mendy
L’international français a signé un nouveau contrat en début de saison pour 4 ans supplémentaires. Une saison 2004-2005 bien en deçà des ses attentes même s’il a disputé 27 matchs, dont 24 comme titulaire. A un an de la Coupe du monde il va devoir de nouveau prouver sa valeur. On le voit donc mal tenter sa chance ailleurs, même s’il existe quelques touches en Angleterre. Pays qu’il connaît deja pour avoir eté preté à Bolton en 2002-2003.

Sylvain Armand
Arrivé de Nantes cette saison comme Yepes et Ateba, son contrat court jusqu’en 2008. Après un début de saison difficile, il s’est plutôt bien repris. On le retrouvera sur le côté gauche la saison prochaine.

Jean-Michel Badiane
Ce jeune joueur du centre de formation est sous contrat jusqu’en 2006. Il n’a disputé que six matchs, dont seulement deux comme titulaires. Puis plus rien depuis la 18eme journée. Il sera peut être prêté pour lui donner un peu plus de temps de jeu.

Mario Yepes
Il est arrivé cette saison en provenance de Nantes avec un contrat de quatre ans à la clef. Concernant sa situation il entretient le flou : « Je peux partir, le Président peut partir, le coach également, mais le club, lui, perdurera. J’entends d'ailleurs honorer mon contrat. Si le Président et le coach restent, alors je serai là avec certitude la saison prochaine. En revanche, s’il devait y avoir des changements à la tête du club, je ne serai plus le seul à décider de mon avenir » avait-il déclaré après le match face à l’OM. Il reste dans le même état d’esprit. En position d’attente. Quelques gros clubs étrangers seraient venus aux nouvelles.

José Pierre-Fanfan
Le capitaine du PSG ne réussit pas une aussi bonne saison que la dernière. Il est encore sous contrat jusqu’en 2008, mais ce n’est plus un secret, le club cherche un « monstre » en défense pour l’associer à Yepes. L’ancien monégasque pourrait bien en faire les frais et se trouver sur le marché des transferts.

Jean-Hugues Ateba
Arrivé cette saison de Nantes. Fin de contrat en 2007. N’a quasiment pas joué avec le PSG. Le club pourrait vouloir s’en débarrasser.

Helder
En fin de contrat à Benfica en début de saison, il avait signé pour un an au PSG. Il est donc libre et ne sera pas reconduit.

Defenders

Stéphane Pichot - signed up until 2007 - he shall stay as he is good competition for the right back spot.

Bernard Mendy - well, says it all - signed a 4 year extenstion earlier in the season. Has to prove himself next year to get a callup for the WC qualies with Les Bleus.

Sylvain Armand - Signed up until 2008. Has had a difficult settling in period. Next year will be his test.

Jean-Michel Badiane - Has a contract which runs to 2006. Has found it difficult as well. Especially the role of playing first team - could be loaned out, to find his feet.

Mario Yepes - Phew, where to start? Turned it around post Xmas. Our defense must be build around his game. A shining star for us. Unsellable.

José Pierre-Fanfan - The fans favourite..... :rolleyes: With us needing a good defender to partner Yepes, he is not it. I wouldn't be too surprised if he left. In fact, he must leave. Get rid and we shall get in a better defender. Anyone from National is better than him.

Jean-Hugues Ateba - Hmmm. Came from Nantes and never really played. Could be sold me thinks.

Helder - His contract is up after his one year deal from Benfica. He will leave after proving his mantle as stop-gap solution.

Jérôme Rothen
Pour lui, jouer au PSG était un rêve de gosse. Un rêve exaucé depuis son arrivée de Monaco en début de saison, même s’il aurait aimé que sa première saison se passe autrement. Peu épargné par les blessures, il n’a pas beaucoup joué. Sous contrat jusqu’en 2008, certaines rumeurs l’envoyaient deja tenter sa chance ailleurs. Sur ce sujet, il a tenu à mettre les choses au clair : « Des rumeurs m'annoncent sur le départ. C'est comme toutes les rumeurs qui circulent sans fondement, mais je ne peux pas passer mon temps à tout démentir. Certaines personnes s’amusent à m’annoncer à droite ou à gauche. Je suis sous contrat avec le PSG, le club de mon cœur, et à moins qu’on ne compte plus sur moi ou d’une offre mirobolante de l’étranger, je serai encore au PSG la saison prochaine. Je suis fier d’être ici et j’ai vraiment envie de vivre de grands moments avec Paris. J’attends beaucoup de la saison prochaine, je ne vois donc pas pourquoi je partirai. »

Edouard Cissé
Au club depuis 1999, il a été prêté ces dernières saisons à Rennes (1998-1999), West Ham (2002-2003) et Monaco (2003-2004). Il aurait des contacts avec deux « gros clubs » (Atletico Madrid, PSV Eindhoven ?), mais se verrait bien prolonger à Paris. Sous contrat jusqu’en 2006, il a reçu une proposition de prolongation de deux ans de la part des dirigeants parisiens. Il y a quelques temps encore il déclarait : « L’un des éléments déterminants dans mon choix sera le nom du futur entraîneur du PSG. J’aspire à une responsabilisation des joueurs et le discours de Laurent Fournier va complètement dans ce sens. Le nouveau PSG est en passe de se construire et il semble plutôt attrayant. J’ai cependant connu d’autres déceptions et il convient donc de rester prudent. »

Lorik Cana
Arrivé au club à l'âge de 16 ans, l’international albanais est surveillé par plusieurs clubs étrangers dont le Bayern Munich et le Real Madrid. Agé de 21 ans, il est aujourd'hui lié au PSG jusqu'en juin 2008, puisqu’il vient de prolonger deux ans. « Même si on est passé à côté cette saison et que le club est dans le flou actuellement, cela reste le PSG. (...) Le PSG, c'est une base sûre pour moi. J'aimerais l'être aussi pour lui » déclarait-il encore il y a peu. Il devrait donc rester.

Modeste M’Bami
Il est arrivé en 2003 de Sedan, et son contrat se termine en 2007. Son avenir au sein du club de la capitale est plus qu’incertain. Avant sa blessure, sous l’ère Halilhodzic, il avait déjà émis le souhait de partir lassé par le jeu du PSG. Aujourd’hui, il déclare avoir entendu parler de club comme Lyon ou Arsenal : « J'ai entendu parler de l'intérêt de Lyon et Arsenal, mais pour l'instant il n'y a rien de sérieux, même si je suis ouvert aux négociations. Peut-être que le PSG veut faire de l'argent avec mon transfert ? Durant le mercato d'hiver ils étaient d'accord pour me laisser partir, s'ils ne veulent plus de moi ils n'ont qu'à me le dire. »

Branko Boskovic
Il est lié au club jusqu’en 2007. Il était arrivé en provenance de l’Etoile Rouge de Belgrade la saison dernière après l’échec de la signature de Hakan Yakin. Joueur estampillé « Vahid », il ne fait pas partie des plans du PSG la saison prochaine. Un retour dans son club d’origine pourrait être d’actualité.

Hocine Ragued
Prêté à Istres puis à Gueugnon avant de revenir au PSG, son contrat se termine en 2006. Il n’a disputé aucun match avec le PSG cette saison. Il est sur le départ. Reste à trouver un club.

Selim Benachour
Il est libre de trouver un autre club, puisque le PSG ne lui a pas offert de prolongation. L’international tunisien, formé au club, va donc partir définitivement cette fois. Les clubs promus pourraient être intéressés. Lors du mercato hivernal, Ajaccio, mais aussi des clubs turcs avaient également été intéressé.

Felipe Teixeira
Il lui reste un an de contrat. Il avait signé en 2002 au PSG avant d’être ensuite prêté à Uniao Leiria (2003-2004) puis de revenir dans la capitale. Il pourrait rester.

Charles-Edouard Coridon
Il est en fin de contrat puisqu’il n’avait signé qu’un an. Le voilà libre de ses choix.

Midfielders

Jérôme Rothen - One word - Indispenable. He, again, is one of the stars. Blighted by injuries, he is one of our gems. Read what he says in French, this is his dream - to play for PSG. He is proud to be a Parisian. His heart runs thick with the blood of red and blue.

Edouard Cissé - Ouch. He just remains as part of the furniture doesn't he? Been with us since 1999 and has passed hands more than a dodgy five pound note with some serious offloading loan deals to Rennes, West Ham and Monaco. Despite interest from other clubs and his contract up in 2006. He looks set to stay on after being handed a 2 year extension.

Lorik Cana - Interets from nearly every big club, highlights the boy's talents. Only 21, he is still learning and has proven his worth. Should stay.

Modeste M’Bami - Massive interest from other bigger clubs, although I would like him to stay, if he wants to leave - so be it - we can use the cash.

Branko Boskovic - Another bonker PSG contract. Usually we offer stupid long contracts to one seasoners like this guy. Is talented no doubt, but never wants to use that talent. A real shame. He will leave. No tears shall be shed in the city of lights over it, either.

Hocine Ragued - Was out on loan this year, he will surely leave. Bye-bye to him.

Selim Benachour - His contract is up, and he can start looking for a new club, seeing as we won't give him a new contract. Ajaccio the likely favourite it would seem.

Felipe Teixeira - Was on loan to Leiria last year - is still under contarct. No one will take him off our hands, so he will prolly stay.

Charles-Edouard Coridon - Contract is up - Au revoir sucker.

LES ATTAQUANTS
Reinaldo
Arrivé en 2003 de Sao Paulo, il a inscrit 7 buts en championnat et trois seulement cette saison. Le club est sur un « grand » attaquant. Il devrait donc être mis sur la liste des transferts. Une offre de Toulouse à 4 millions d’euros existe. Francis Graille, l’ancien président du club, en souhaitait 6.

Pedro Pauleta
Au club depuis 2003, il reste encore une année de contrat au Portugais. Souvent annoncé partant vers le Portugal en fin de saison, le Portugais pourrait finalement rester. Il attend de voir et serait en train de négocier avec le club pour une prolongation d’un an.

Fabrice Pancrate
Il est arrivé du Mans cette saison, et son contrat court jusqu’en 2008. Il se pose beaucoup de questions sur son avenir. Depuis quelques matchs il ne rentre plus dans les plans de Laurent Fournier. Si rien ne bouge avant la fin de saison, il demandera sûrement a être prêté, voir transférer. Il attend la fin de saison pour avoir une discussion avec ses dirigeants pour ne pas déstabiliser le club dans les dernières journées.

Serguei Semak
Le Russe est arrivé au mercato d’hiver en provenance du CSKA Moscou. Il est sous contrat jusqu’en 2007. A priori, il devrait être conservé.

Danijel Ljuboja
L’attaquant est arrivé au mercato hivernal lors de la précédente saison en provenance de Strasbourg. Son contrat court jusqu’en 2007. Même dans les pires moments, il a toujours affirmé qu’il voulait rester à Paris pour prouver sa valeur. De son côté, le club continuera-t-il à lui faire confiance ? Laurent Fournier en tout cas a choisi : le voila titulaire depuis la 30eme journée, alors qu’il ne l’avait été que quatre fois lors des 23 premières. International, il ne peut se permettre un choix hasardeux l’année de la Coupe du Monde.

Attackers

Reinaldo - Hmmmm. A supposed 4m euro from Toulouse is on the cards. Sell, sell, sell. 7 goals is not good enough.

Pauleta - His contract up next year and his stalling to sign a new one, means he must be sold, so we can cash in... However, he is the process of signing a possible on year extenstion prior to the WC, so he could well stay on.

Fabrice Pancrate - Has had a inconsistent year. Is tied down till 2008, he will maybe loaned or given a new chance next year. Regardless, he should stay a PSG player next term.

Serguei Semak - Has divided some fans, but has the quality to suceed at the club. Has a deal till 2007 - he shall stay on.

Danijel Ljuboja - After a crap start, he has started to blossom under Lolo. He wants to stay and should remain, if he wants to break into the Serbian side for the WC.

Vedad Ibisevic (Dijon)
Estampillé « Vahid », le jeune attaquant sera-t-il conservé ? Il y a peu de chances. Il pourrait intéresser des clubs de L2.

Alioune Touré (Guingamp)
Son contrat se termine en 2006. Il ne fait toujours pas partie des plans du club parisien.

Romain Rocchi (Bastia)
Son contrat se termine également en 2006. Il pourrait être conservé ou encore prêté.

Bartholomew Ogbeche (Metz)
Son contrat se termine également en 2006. Actuellement prêté à Metz, le PSG ne souhaite pas le garder. Son statut d’international nigérian peut lui ouvrir des pistes (Sochaux, Nice).

Franck Dja-Djedje (Brest)
Ce jeune attaquant devrait, sauf surprise, être de nouveau prêté.

Loan returns

Vedad Ibisevic - Remains to be seen if he can do it Ligue 1. He will maybe spend another season out on loan in Ligue 2, to earn his French football trade.

Alioune Touré - Contracted to 2006 - he will be sold. He will not fugure much in our plans.

Selon nos confrères de Foot-Transfert, le PSG serait en voie de conclure un accord avec le FC Bruges pour le transfert du défenseur tchèque David Rozehnal. Le montant du transfert s’élèverait à deux millions d’euros avec un contrat de quatre ans à la clef. Si le transfert venait à se faire, le PSG abandonnerait la piste Sylvain Monsoreau que Sochaux ne souhaite pas céder, sauf offre mirobolante.
