Ben was merely brought in as an 'insurance' against bad times (I'm referring to injury crisis & suspensions here). Imagine Juni, Tiago or Diarra being injured ahead of a decisive CL match...

I don't think old horse teeth would be a bad recruit for you guys.... He's tough and can deliver some spectacular cannons from 30 meters out. I think he would improve your team greatly. Just get him on a loan deal with first option to buy. See what he can do.

Pedretti would be a good option, since I don't see any talent French player in the team to maintain my passion for the club.

We (as in the club) need a new dimention when it comes to attacking was well. If it were up to me id have a look at Kim Kallstrom, Yoann Gourcuff, Fernando Gago, Chinedu Ogbuke or Sergio Aguero (well the last one is a dream really, never going to happen in reality).

Both Zokora and Toure would be solid options. We need Ljubo desperately back off loan though.

If any of you guys watched the Africa Nations, then you would have seen what an amazing prospect Yaya Toure is. Not only great defenive awarness, but his powerful runs forward add another great dimention to both his club and country.
PSG need to start with buildings the foundations of the team first (the defense) before investing in more attacking minded players.

We need a new right-back imo. Pichot makes too many mistakes and Mendy is too attack minded at times - he is best suited to the wide right position imo.

According to Le Parisien, Landreau is about to sign a 4-yr deal with PSG. Busy already in the market, huh?

Personally I wanted him to stay in France, so I'm glad that he finally ended up here. You know, this Wenger guy always gets on my nerves in times like these...:rolleyes:

Alors que son avenir, sur le terrain comme en dehors, semble bien flou, le Paris-SG prépare déjà activement la saison prochaine. Ambitieux, les dirigeants du club se sont réunis il y a quelques jours pour tenter de donner forme à la future ossature de l'équipe professionnelle. Selon les premières rumeurs, l'entraîneur Guy Lacombe devrait pouvoir s'appuyer sur un effectif riche. A commencer par le recrutement d'un grand gardien de but, le troisième portier de l'équipe de France, Mickaël Landreau. Le stratège du PSG a toutefois indiqué que ce transfert n'était «pas d'actualité». Landreau parle de «supputations» et a cependant donné rendez-vous à la presse dimanche à l'issue du décrassage.

Si le nom du Madrilène Ronaldo, en partance du Real car en froid avec les supporters de Santiago-Bernabeu et ses coéquipiers, a été évoqué mais pas franchement retenu, celui de Mickaël Landreau est revenu avec insistance et semble avoir fait l'unanimité. Selon France Football à paraître vendredi, le club de la capitale se serait même déjà mis d'accord avec le gardien du FC Nantes, présent mercredi à Paris, pour un contrat de quatre ans qu'il ne resterait plus qu'à parapher. Le bi-hebdomaidaire en fait d'ailleurs sa couverture.

Libre en juin après treize années passées en Loire-Atlantique, l'international (3 sélections) souhaite depuis longtemps donner une nouvelle orientation à sa carrière. Annoncé sur le départ à chaque fin de saison depuis quatre ans et désireux de rejoindre un grand club, il aurait enfin décidé de franchir le pas et refusé la prolongation de contrat proposée par son président Rudi Roussillon. Pisté par Lens, Manchester City, le FC Séville et l'Inter Milan, l'international français se verrait déjà à Paris. «Je suis ravi», aurait-il soufflé à certains proches.

S'il venait à signer au PSG comme indiqué, il débarquerait avec le statut de titulaire. Lionel Letizi n'aurait d'autres choix que de partir, lui qui a de toute façon perdu sa place au profit de Jérôme Alonzo, doublure de luxe à laquelle il reste encore une année de contrat. La venue de Landreau - qui retrouverait les anciens Nantais Yepes, Armand et Ateba - serait une très bonne affaire pour le PSG. Sportivement d'abord mais aussi financièrement puisque le club parisien n'aurait rien à débourser au FC Nantes, ce qui n'entame pas son enveloppe réservée au recrutement estivale. Reste maintenant à convaincre le milieu de terrain défensif nantais Jérémy Toulalan, autre priorité du PSG mais également la proie de plusieurs clubs comme Lyon.

Le transfert de Mickaël Landreau n'est cependant pas la première préoccupation de l'entraîneur du PSG, Guy Lacombe, pour qui ce sujet n'est «pas d'actualité». «J'ai découvert ça comme vous dans les journaux, je n'ai pas à commenter cet article. Ce n'est surtout pas l'actualité de parler de ça en ce moment. Je ne parle ni des arrivées ni des départs, je pense qu'on a d'autres soucis, à commencer par le déplacement à Monaco dimanche».

Lacombe y perçoit même une tentaive de déstabilisation : «À mon avis, ce n'est pas innocent de voir ça aujourd'hui dans la presse, c'est encore bien intentionné. J'ai dit aux joueurs ce matin d'éviter de se prendre la tête avec cette histoire. À Paris, il y aura toujours des supputations de transferts».
