Ok, try to pick 10 guys domestically who'd be better than him.
Niang
Gomis
Cisse
Ben Arfa
Juninho
Menez
Valbuena
Benzema
If Nasri and Elmander hadnt just left I could include them lol.
I liked Giuly a lot but I really havent followed him since he left Ligue 1 so I dont know how he's been playing. Only thing I know is that he been primarly a sub at Barca and Roma. He's still better than Pires, right ?

Nicolas and I agree for once. :p I think Giuly would be a good fit too, I hope he goes to either Monaco or PSG instead of l'OM.
I only want him back if we keep Menez. If not I dont see how he can help a bad team all by himself with limited talent around him. i'd rather take Givet back if I had to choose one or the other. Thats why I think OM is best for him because they are much better than PSG and ASM.

I wouldn't take Gomis, Cissé, Valbuena or even Elmander ahead of Giuly. I don't think people realize that Giuly actually did well at Roma and hasn't lost much skill at all. He wasn't always a starter, though he had 31 league appearances, as well as action in the CL. Pirès actually had a very good season at Villarreal, so I don't know if Giuly would be better than him.
On the other issue, I think Giuly is a better fit at Monaco or PSG in terms of tactics as I think he would disrupt the balance at l'OM. He would vie with Ben Arfa/Cissé/Niang/Valbuena for a spot in the starting XI, and given that his wages could be higher than some of those guys, one of them will be sitting on the bench.
In terms of tactics, I think Giuly would be best at PSG, for exactly the reasons Nicolas noted.

Diané going to Al Rayyan/Qatar:(
"While the Parisian club wanted 10 million for his transfer, it will finally about 7 million perceive that the PSG for his departure. Everyone is therefore content: the Parisian club as it may finally have some money to negotiate an arrival, and the player, which can secure its future with a contract that will be very lucrative for him: 2.5 million ' Annual euro…"
It says it will be confirmed tomorrow.
I think this is wery sad:(
I will miss him
Briand
"SFrédéric Saint-Sernin said he met Monday Charles Villeneuve. The purpose of the meeting was to put an end to discussions regarding the transfer of Jimmy Briand. "This discussion was intended to put an end to our discussions on this issue. We always count on Briand this season and PSG's financial proposal is much less than the value of the player. "
Recall that Rennais leaders demanding at least 10 million euros for their attacker, a sum that the PSG is too high. Jimmy Briand a good shout his desire to join the Capital his transfer now seems very compromised."
What happens with Thuram??
Anybody heard anything else?

Digard has gone to Middlesborough
"Didier Digard is now part of the staff of the club English Premier League Middlesbrough. The ex-middle defensive club from the capital is finally relieved to have left the capital. Tired of leaders and staff in Paris, the player had asked to be transferred, now it's done. The club will receive an amount of 5 million €."

Thoughts on Marko Basa (Defender) <<25 ans>> et Stephane Sessègnon (Midfielder) <<24 ans>> from LeMans?
I know nothing about either player and it looks as though we may be able to sign both players.

Don't know anything about either really, but I heard Basa will cost €8M and Sessègnon more.
Also apparantly we've had a €7M bid for Briand turned down and a €8.5M bid for Bodmer also rejected.

The movement this week?
Party in Britain for a period of preparation, the actual Parisian could undergo some changes this week.
For departures, if Didier Digard is officially sold to Boro, it was still awaiting confirmation of the club from the sale of PSG's top scorer last season, Amara Diané, the Qatari club Al Rayyan.
Check this winter, Souza could, according to press reports, returned this week in Brazil where it would be lent to the club Gremio.
Listed arrival, the arrival of Marko Basa seems very close and could be followed by her teammate Le Mans Stephane Sessegnon each for 8 and 9 million.
On the side Stade Rennais, nothing is more between the leaders Breton and Jimmy Briand who shouts loud and clear its desire to join the capital. Having not yet returned to training with his club it is not clear how Rennes will be able to keep her attacker since he announced he would never be the red and black jersey.
The press also announced that the PSG interested in Ilan (St.Etienne) and Hamburg (Germany) player Ivica Olic. The runway Makelele still seems valid, the player who announced he would decide on his return from holiday scheduled for 12 or July 14.
Just for once, it may be a hectic week ahead for PSG.

So now Govou and PSG? (Le Parisien, L'Equipe et France Football)
Nothing like the Mercato!!!! I guess Ronaldinho will be returning to PSG in next week's edition of Le Mercato et PSG!!! :D
Serieux!!!!
If he doesn't go abroad he's interested in playing for PSG and can be had between 5-7 million Euros. For Govou that's disgustingly low. Personally, I'd love to see Govou playing for PSG but it may be dependent on whether or not Giuly signs for PSG.
Camara has extended his contract @ PSG.

At least something has gone right lately. If we didn't have bad luck we'd have no luck at all.

I cant figure out why they want Briand so badly. Why do they want him instead of Klasnic for example

Briand, if he works on his finishing, could be a terrific striker. I really don't believe the same can be said about Klasnic.
Briand was born in the Parisian banlieue, I believe. Klasnic does not speak any French.
Briand can play on the wing or as the second striker. Klasnic is an out-and-out striker, I think (I'm not certain, I have not seen him play much).
Either one would help the team, however.

Klasnic is being linked with OM and Nantes though and he already made a visit to Nantes to check them out.
