I did't say I believe them, I've just heard them.

It's ok. This is the mercato we're talking about. On any given day, a whole team can be rumored to be on it's way out or in.

So now the transfer budget is supposed to be 75 Million Euros? LMAO!!!
Hell, with that amount, we should be able to sign quite a few top players. I'll believe this one when I see the actual transfers. So far, PSG seems to be the team that's sending players in one directions ~ away. I wouldn't be surprised if Diane is around another season.

That's PSG's budget for the whole season :p. Unfortunately, this is not the transfer envelope. I'll quote Villeneuve's answer when the journalist questionned him about this transfer envelope :

Quels moyens avez-vous ? On parle d'une enveloppe comprise entre 15 et 20 M€.

Laissons dire. Je ne peux ni démentir ni confirmer tant que le conseil d'administration n'a pas statué.

To sum up, he doesn't know yet...

By the way, he confirmed his interest for Giuly, Thuram, Basa, Sessegnon...but he denied his meeting with Muller and claimed that he hasn't called Pires.
---------------------------------------------------------------------

Anyway, to sum up the situation of PSG now :

- Mendy, Alonzo, Pauleta, Yepes are no longer at PSG.
- Diané and Digard will probably head to England.
- Mulumbu will be a free agent soon ?
- Traoré, Pancrate and Banning are back at PSG.
- Bordeaux are after Armand ?
- Gremio and Francfort are after Souza ?

- Camara stays at PSG even though Atletico Madrid want him.
- Thuram and CV talked together, yet PSG and Tutu haven't reached to an agreement.
- PSG offered 5 million Euros for Basa.
- PSG offered 6.5 million Euros for Sessegnon.
- PSG offered 6 million Euros for Briand.
- It seems like Iaquinta was linked with PSG but they wanted to spend only 5 million Euros to sign him.
- Giuly will take his decision soon.
- Makelele ? Chelsea, PSG ? It seems like he'll stay at Chelsea (contract extended).
- There are also rumors about PSG being linked with Runje (he refused?), HBA, Bodmer...

Sinama-Pongolle has signed with Atletico Madrid. What a bummer. I was hoping to see him go to PSG or St. Etienne.

So now that Thuram is on board, who's next?
So Thuram gets to mentor version 2.0 (AKA Sakho).
It would be nice to have Giuly on board. I'd like to see a couple of younger players signed in addition to Thuram and Giuly.

I read yesterdy that Luyindula wants to stay @ PSG, personally I think he underachieved last year and I have not given up on him yet.

So the mercato is now that much more interesting.
Maybe we can bring Roni back since he's fallen out @ Barca. :D

Serieux, who in the hell is the goalkeeper?

New young players? I think PSG allready have to many talents(Clement, Digard, Chantome, Sakho, N'Gog etc) and to few "old", experienced players now that Pauleta and Yepes is gone.

Luyindula had a poor season this year, but that does'nt mean that he can't come back stronger next season, and if PSG can't get a new striker, who will be playing with Hoarau on top other that Peguy?

Thuram won't sign with PSG.

Well, I guess if he finds out he can play without worry then there's still a chance he might come to Paris. However, I think his career is probably over. Too bad.

rough for PSG, and by extension for L1 as a whole. he could have you and everyone a heap of good.

I really dont see how he could continue playing now. He's already had a lenghty and full career so there's nothing really left to accomplish at PSG thats worth risking your life for.

Yeah, it's also sad to hear that his brother died as a result of the same condition but Lillian has had a great career and his legendary status has cemented a long time ago. Although it would've been nice to see him alongside Mamadou Sakho. ;)

Yea that's really sad to hear. He's had an incredible career and I can definately see him hanging up his boots now. This was a loss for the league as a whole though I feel, I was happy to hear he was coming back.

honestly, there's no other club quite like ours
no day goes on without something completely unexpected to happen!

I first thought it was a bad joke.
Thuram: playing for over a decade on the highest level. Competed in the Euro 2008, which means having passed similar tests a month ago, and just when he wants to join us (who else to pay his high wages at his age), bam, he is diagnosed with a heart problem.
Thinking about it, who is the last player to have played for our club and to have left it with a better reputation than when he joined? Ronaldinho perhaps?
And it's getting worse! Thuram didn't even sign yet and his career is already in jeopardy.
Players should avoid our club like the plague, lol

Whatever may be, I'm still as proud as ever of this club. I don't think even the prophet Job would have stuck through so many ordeals as all of us PSG fans have

Fluctuat Nec Mergitur.

Tutu should remember that. After all, he is a PSG fan.
And whatever happens in the next few weeks concerning him, I sure hope he at least becomes part of the staff. There will always be place for people like him.

in other transfers news. I'm still laughing at Rennes asking for 12 millions for Briand. For a little more, we could have had Ben Arfa. That's way too much considering Briand is nothing but an overrated Pancrate (and that's a hard thing to do, lol).

I think bringing in Giuly would be a good idea. If he decides to return to France, as appears likely, he remains among the top 10 players domestically, I think.

Top 10 I dont think so. When he was at Monaco he was top 10 but how could he still be 5 years later at his age

Ok, try to pick 10 guys domestically who'd be better than him.

I hope Giuly will come at PSG.

It's exactly the like of player we need. I'm fep up of seing a midfield composed of 3 defensive midfielders whom offensives skills are more than limited. If Le Guen field a 4-3-3 or 4-4-2, he'll perfectly fit in those systems. I'm convinced that he'll become the best right winger of the league. In my opinion, he should be our priority.

Regarding what happens between Ben Arfa, Lyon and Marseille, l'OM will have a lot of money to spend on Kim or Giuly. I hope he'll remember that Diouf refused Giuly to sign with l'OM. I also hope PSG can afford to pay his wage.

Nicolas and I agree for once. :p I think Giuly would be a good fit too, I hope he goes to either Monaco or PSG instead of l'OM.
