Yes it said they are real close to Briand and Giuly. Those are 2 smart signings but they wont come cheaply.

Not sure where you got any of this. Gomis just signed and extension with St. Etienne, Traore isn't leaving Arsenal, Makoun has bigger clubs after him, Menez isn't leaving Monaco, and Gouffran is linked to bigger clubs also.
We're probably looking at ...
.................Landreau
New RB...Camara...Sakho....Armand
Guily...Chantome....Clement....Rothen
.............Briand...New Striker
I'd like Thuram to come in at CB and push Sakho to RB for a year or so. I would also like Maka in for Clement, but I don't really see PSG paying wages for him and Thuram as well as Guily (whom we seem really close on).

This is good, although last I checked, I don't think either Aulas or Abramovich is taking over PSG. :)

Hoarau?
Possibly. I would also say give N'gog a shot, but I think we may need a bit more experience.
In all honesty, we should have tried to keep Pauleta one more year since there's really not a lot of proven talent out there that won't cost a fortune.

If both Briand and Sinama-Pongolle join, I think PSG will be a threat for Europe, if not more, though it'll be vital that one of those two sign (or a player of similar quality).

Le Parasien says Thuram has accepted PSG's offer and should sign and they also say Villeneuve will meet with Ben Arfa and his entourage this week.

Is he available on a Free Transfer?

No, although now it appears that Sinama-Pongolle is headed to Atlético Madrid.

Thats too bad. I was hoping to see him in Green. I never thought PSG could get both him and Briand. I wonder who St. Etienne could possibly get now.

Leave Paris for the bright lights of Middlesboro? Good luck.

it is a shame because he has potential, and I would have liked to see Digard, Chantome and Clement as our young trio in midfield.
But obviously the team needs to cut one of them, to be replaced by a right midfielder of quality.
In the end, it isn't a huge loss for us, since he didn't play that much this season, and he was limited physically, I don't know if he'll be ready for the premier league.
And what the hell is he going to do in Middlesbrough?
In Britain, you need to be paid a hefty sum to be forced to live anywhere north of London. Especially in Middlesbrough
In other news. Among all the rumors surrounding the club, one I particularly like is Thuram. As old as he may be, he's a leader, and he can pass on the flame to Sakho :)

i would be excited, but thuram is ANCIENT, and unlikely to have any lasting impact at PSG. if we are going to sign players of talent, we should not go for the ones who simply wish for a single "fun" season before their retirement. PSG is not exactly the most gentle club to play at. we need warriors who are willing to put in time and effort into the club.

Of course Thuram wouldn't have any "lasting" impact at PSG. No one expects more than one season from him, but if he can come in and settle down the defense as well as mentor some of the younger players it would really help. It's also a great PR move to bring him in - he's a big name and would show other players that PSG are serious about bringing in talent.
On another note LeParisien.fr reports that Sessegnon wants to move to Paris, but Le Mans has rejected the first offer.

Hello from Greece, Thessaloniki.
I want to ask you for a player called Valentin Roberge who plays to Pari B and to Guingamp two years ago.
These sites say that Roberge is transfered to Aris Thessaloniki ( last year we played a friendly game against Pari, if you remember ).
I want your opinion about this players, his age, his best position in the field, his skills etc.
And if the transfer rumour is correct.
Thank you..
