clément is an OL product who was a kind of PLG protégé. He always did more than adequate work in lyon when called on, but, especially after le guen left he wasn't considered the proper caliber 'at least now) to propel us to CL glory... but PLG obviously likes him, since wherever he goes he takes colleu (his asst) and clément along!

ask on the rangers' board what they thought of him!

Best pickup of the year.
I agree, but the real test is how long will the PSG board give Le Guen to succeed??? the rest of this season, until the end of next season???
Who knows?

They hate him and the supporters are the reason why he was fired!
He said no 1 player is bigger than the club.
I think many of the RFC supporters never gave him a chance because he was French and they would rather have a Scotsman at the healm.

Lacombe had a year, so my guess is PLG will have more than that. Actually a lot more.

Wasn't Le Guen a legendary player for PSG?

legendary maybe not, because when he was playing for PSG, there were so much other great players. but emblematic, yes. but he was part of THE legendary PSG team, and I don't remember him of being a substitute, or maybe only at the end of his career.

Ok, maybe I read he was a fan favorite.

Are PSG's struggles related to players or coach this year? What positions would you improve on/what players would you like to leave?

He left because of his results and his signings were absolutely rubbish sebo for instance all he can do is run i doubt he would score if he was the only player on the park. Correct me if I am wrong but was it not someone else who took control of signings at Lyon ?

And as for Clement he is a ball winner simple as all he really does is break up play don't expect to see him shooting as you won't.

Personally I think PSG should be aiming higher than Clement if they want to get back to the top end of the table

He even took Leitizi to Rangers don't forget that and he has to be the worst goalkeeper i have ever seen in my life the amount of mistakes he makes and he stuck with him over a goalkeeper who was playing brilliant every week at rangers so he has a habit of sticking to his own signings instead of people who are actually there.

Also he apparently fell out with several players and one player was on loan from man utd bardsley never played again after he tackled someone hardly in training apparently.

I hope for one he makes your defence better than ours as our defence couldn't head a ball if their life depended on it.

They seem to be complex. A little bit of both.

Right-back post is an obvious problem for PSG and they might wanna bring somebody in this winter. Mendy's performance has been just way too subpar this season he deserves to be whistled by the public.

They also need a new holding midfielder who is not only experienced enough to lead youngsters through (Chantome and Mulumbu) but also intelligent about his game. In other words, they outta kick out Cisse and bring somebody who doesn't just tackle from behind and give away freekicks.

I think those two are pretty much it. At least they are the two most urgent problems that need to be solved right away.

Some progression with bringing over 22 year old Jeremy Clement and some concrete figures to work with...

Jeremy has declared his interest in quitting Rangers, stating that he is less motivated and would like to leave. Le Guen has confirmed the interest.
The F365.fr has speculated that Rangers will demand 2.5 million euros, after buying the player for 1.5 million euros last summer.

PC is the only confirmed departure (when remains a question), Pancrate and Traore are speculated to leave. The latter has stated that he has no real desire to leave but playing in CFA is obviously something he does not want to do for the rest of the season.

rangers will hold out for as much as they can get and won't sell cheaply he has another 2 and a half years left on his contract and we need money for a replacement and with lyon interested the price will be pushed up

Yea, and who knows how the rangers' relationship with Le Guen actually ended? Our bargaining position is not very good...

PC has left PSG for Toulouse, he has thanked the club and stated that he will miss the supporters

Well PLG had a habbit when he was at rangers of haggling prices but i dont think he will be able to do that in this particular deal and Le Guen actually wanted to leave in like september he was talked into staying on then eventually both parties agreed to part company and PLG even suggested his succesor. However there was a rumour that hemdani heard the rangers chairman saying that there will never be another foreign manager of rangers

I would be curious as to, how much both PSG and Rangers have to spend?
Did PLG go back to France because him and his family were homesick, the deal at PSG was just to sweet to pass, OR wanted to help his old club???

But Clement wants to play for PSGrectification: clément wants to play... and he'll do more of that at PSG than OL.

frankly, this fancy for clément is over my head. i remember his goal at ASM as well as anyone, but if we want another MF, i'm sure we have the cash for better possibilities.
