A couple of years ago his name was tossed around with Premiership clubs in the same vein as Diarra and Essien, but as a cheaper version. Now is does seem that all interest has fallen off. I wonder if this is symptomatic of other problems at PSG.
And my vote goes with his continuing to be a lazy ass.

Apparently the deal is done... m'Bami goes to OM!!!
Yet another one, that makes it 5 in 3 years I think, damn, Marseille just loves our players, don't they?
PSG - fournisseur officiel de l'OM :D
Well the game in two weeks will be even more fun to watch, I can bet Cana and m'Bami will play together like they did in 2003, and just create lots of problems for us. It's always like this.
I guess the only way for Marseille to beat us is to buy our own players :D

Any word on the fee? I couldn't find anything official.I've not seen anything official either but there have been a couple of rumors on this. One has Marseille shelling out 3.5m euros on him, the other has a 1m euro + Wilson Oruma in a part exchange deal. Not sure which I'd prefer of them since I'm not too high on Oruma but at least it would weaken Marseille a little. Right now we seem to be very thin on the ground for quality in midfield, but Oruma is more of a wide-man and in midfield that's our stongest area.
What is the deal with us selling our best players to Marseille?? Ok M'Bami wasn't playing for us but I don't understand the guy at all. Supposedly his original reason for wanting out of PSG was to play in a bigger league than L1... how does he accomplsh that signing for Marseille?? He may as well stay in Paris. The guy strikes me as being two cans short of a six-pack. The sad thing is he was probably the best central midfielder we had at the club and since Cayzac (in all his infinite knowledge) passed on Pedretti, where do we go from here??
I'm less than enamored with the signings this year. Whilst I like Landreau and Frau, I really don't think we did enough to sign players who have the potential to make a real difference. Pedretti would've turned an ok summer into a great one, but letting M'Bami move to l'OM turns an ok summer into a bad one. Looks like we need to get ready for another season as an also-ran. :(

LOL i normally wouldn't care, but if mbami plays against us, he'll do more for PSG than he ever has before
of course he should be targeted by the requisite heavy tackles
"Je suis très content, après quelques jours de discussion, cela s’est finalement fait. Marseille est une équipe très connue en Afrique. Je suis heureux d’être ici et d’avoir signé à l’OM."

m'bami is rather funny
he said last year that he wont come to marseille that he can leave paris but never come to marseille after Cana left our team and now he is playing to marseille haha
he is the best money lover i have ever seen no one can match him, he refused seville he has a bad mentality
i'm happy that he left paris, he is too fat, he forgot how to run, since his injury he is very bad i dont expected anything from him even if we have some trouble in the position where he plays
cisse isnt good during this beginning of championship and franckly speaking i dont like rozenhal really
well i'm not so happy that he left to go to marseille but i hope he will be jealous of other players as he is used to do, it's not a collective player he is too selfish he dont have any notion of group and think of him only
u remember when a player repeated to media everything what said players during a private conversation between them all i'm sure he was the one who made this revelations to the media it shows that he is able to betray the other guys who are playing with him only for his own interest

M'bami to move to OM for 2.5m euros. Something about his comments makes me think I'm not going to miss him.

after the OM match, pierre menes has some funny things to say w/ his player ratings.

We might be going after Higuain (18 yr old, River Plate) for next season!!! That would be fantastic, he's a very gifted player. However, given our congestion in the support striker/CF category we might have to sell. Additionally, so many clubs are after this kid that it's going to be a tough competition to sign him
Foot - Transferts : Le PSG piste Higuain
Hopefully Rai will do his job and make a struggling club seem like a golden one

It appears that the swiss Esteban is more likely to go to Rennes, which is interesting because a few months ago he was saying he would love to go Paris, now he says Rennes is the right size for him, I guess the club scared him :(
As to this Gonzalo, they talk a lot about him lately, and the guy, although being argentinian, cherishes the fact that he was born in France and in fact doesn't have an argentinian nationality, if I understood correctly, he really wants to play for France, and the only way Domenech would consider him IMO is if he played in France. But OM are also on him, and I fear that he would prefer them over us. Well I guess that's how it is, if we play like crap, we can't expect a rising star to wish to sign with us

A teenager from South America isnt gonna help save you. If you have to rely on that then youre in trouble. Id rather go with more experienced European players.

 who said we're only relying on him? read the article again.
At the end of the day, he is a fantastic talent and can have the same impact as ronnie did when he transfered from Gremio. Reliance? what?

You need to win now. You can wait for this guy to develop.

Firstly, have you even seen him play? Few in ligue 1 can boast better technique, vision, and composure. As for as ability goes, he has developed enough to succeed in this league.
Secondly, with respect to "needing to win now," thank you for an utterly ridiculous reductionist and simplistic point of view. Let's just forget the trivial challenge of overtaking Lyon in terms of team solidarity and squad depth. All we need to do is buy some "experienced european player" and hop, voila! As if by magic, we can start "winning now" and getting those dawgawn trophies.
Of course winning is our goal, but there are no instant solutions and no expensive ones either when one considers this club. Rather than going out and buying a number of players and expect them to gel instantly and challenge lyon, the most prudent plan is creating a dynamic wherein one or two players can bring experience where it is needed, and nuture talent elsewhere.

HEINZE to make a return? :D:D I sincerely hope so! Armand is looking better and better at CB, so the only competition for the LB spot is Drame who could definately learn from Gaby.

He's signed a pro-contract with the club. So he has been part of the PSG youth system, thats why he has played for them already this season.

PSG: Heinze of return? (23/11)
Will the defender of Manchester United, Gabriel Heinze (28 years, 2 establishments in First League this season), rejouera under the shirt of Paris SG? It is in any case the wish of the Parisian leaders who would try to recover the international Argentinian one in the form of a loan. Heinze had already carried the shirt of the PSG during three seasons between 2001 and 2004. (By Nicolas Lagavardan)
