This might just end up being a lot of me talking to myself, but I thought it would be worth a try. Any thoughts on promotion, Correa as coach, new signing, transfers etc... would be great! Questions are welcome as well.

Well, I'm actually surprised anyone has posted anything, so that's great. Sportboy, Forgeron was aluding to Nancy vs. Guegnon on Friday. I imagine Nancy will thrash FC Guegnon, but hey, anything could happen in L2 in any given week.
Nancy anounced the first of what I imagine will be a number of professional contracts extended to youth squad players. The player is named Landry Nguemo and was an excellent Cameroon youth (u-15 and u-19) player. Could play a role in the years to come.

I know about most of the players and everything, due mainly to video games, and was wondering who your best players were, and how you usually lined up.
Kroupi and Dufresne are your two main strikers, correct? And Celdran is one of your better midfielders, I think.

I'm looking forward to Nancy playing against other northeast rivals such as Strasbourg, Metz, and Sochaux.

Do you think Nancy will get good crowds in Ligue 1 next year?

Well, you're right about Kroupi. With 11 goals this year he is Nancy's leading scorer and most dangerous threat up front. He's paired up with journeyman Laurent Dufresne upfront, the 33 year old that has played in every league but league one. 10 goals for Dufresne this year.
In terms of the midfield, you might be talking about Michael Chretien. The 20 year old has been at the center of the Nancy midfield for 3 years now and is a great u-21 prospect.
How do they line up? Well, I have to admit that I'm not sure. Living in Salt Lake I have a tough time seeing any of the games. I think the last live Nancy game I saw was in 99 when Wiart, Kone, Hognon, and even Tony Cascarino were playing the team. 4-4-2 is what I'm guessing from everything that I've heard though.

Well, I really think that they will Ganu. This year in L2 they are averaging almost 12,000 which is already better than OGC and Monaco (I won't even get into the Corsican clubs). They have seriously upgraded their facilities since 99-00 and can now comfortably seat 20,000 (covered seating), and I think having both Metz and Strasbourg in the top flight next year will certainly help the situation. The last time Nancy were in League 1 the stadium was a disaster, and they still drew over 10,000 a game. I would venture to guess that they will average 15-16 thousand per game next year, but that is a conservative guess.

You were right about Celdran. His name is Phillipe Celdran, but he has not featured much for Nancy this year. He's been a bit of a dissapointment actually. Interesting interview with him on ASNL site though.

Nice to have another club thread.
Well thanks for the support.... Here's what needs to happen tonight.
Nancy at Guegnon
Sedan lose to Dijon (hmmmmm........)
Brest loses or ties with Troyes
Nancy gets promoted if all these stars line up. Seems pretty likely to me. :)

Don't forget Sochaux : Metz, Nancy, Strasbourg and Sochaux in Ligue 1 ! GO EAST !
Our weather may be crappy, but we can play soccer too ! (err, not the best warcry ever, I'm afraid  .)

Nancy is up 2-0 at half against Guegnon. Goals by Curbelo and Kroupi. Dijon is also beating Sedan 1-0 at the half. Could today be the day for ASNL?
