There seems to be this ongoing cycle in the north end and until it stops that section will never be what we all want it to.

You have group A, the original group trying to get things going in the north end. Along comes group B who has the same goals as A but a much different way of doing it. A & B clash and A fcuk's off and scatters somewhere else in the stadium holding a grudge against B.

So now B has the section and they do things there way. Along comes a new group C who again shares the same goals as B but again the styles are different. Band C clash and while I cant say whether or not B has fcuked off to somewhere else or not a grudge is present. How long is this going to continue?

This cycle is why we are so far behind some other support groups around the league. People need to quit taking things so damn personal and figure out a way to put differences aside and make it work. The numbers are (were?) obviously there for a vibrant section but they are all scattered across different groups.

I do not know why I felt I needed to get that all out now, especially sitting here in class but it is just an observation from an outsider.

I didnt know there was anymosity amongst the groups in the NE, I thought that we are working well together. Could it be better? Everything has room for improvement. As for the past, relishing on it will only make you repeat it. In fact, I dont believe that anyone in either group were around when things went down the last time. I personally apologize to any old N'ender who felt that V-Army pushed them out of the section. And Invite them back to the section.

Yeah, from every meeting I've been at with the groups everything seems to be working well.

ive been around since before v-army existed. i remember what happened. zak could probably say the same.

granted, i havent seen anyone at a game in the past year or so who has been around that long (with exception of evan, but i dont really know how many games he makes it to).

its funny though... i remember there being huge arguments because the n'enders/contractors didnt like the drunkenness or swearing put on by the younger guys (to become v-army) and v-army ended up winning that battle, and now a new group comes along and its back to a daycare center...

We all know the answer is having one leader that is good at getting everyone to drop their differences and just support the team. Until that person is found, it's still going to be every man for himself. You get that unifying personality directing the entire group, and you have 100 voices strong that WILL make an impact.

There's no grudge between the two supporters clubs in the North End as far as I know. I certainly have none. Like people have said, the meetings have been productive and we are already lightyears beyond where we were last year.
