It's a tight race - who do you want to end up with the final Champions League position in the Premiership?

Bolton. I enjoy watching them play and would be interested in seeing how they do in the Champions league.

Either Bolton or Everton - The EPL needs new blood in the upper crust - It will be a healthier and more competitive league if it isn't always ManU, Chelsea, Arsenal & Liverpool

I want Liverpool to finish fourth; but I want them to win the Champs League more...and have Everton finish fourth so that UEFA people will continue to worry about what to do with a defendin champoin who's not in the top four in the domestic league... :D :D

Its only fair for Liverpool and Benitez to finish fourth, after an injury ravaged season.

I think it's only fair that Everton finish fourth because they have had a better season, and I believe the last time that they qualified for the Champions League, they could not go because of the ban on English teams after the Heysel disaster, so Liverpool may prevent them again. By the way, Miss Moderator, who do YOU want to finish fourth? :p ;)

Ehh, hardly. If teams played against Liverpool the way they play against Everton then I'm sure it would be different. And it's not over yet. Liverpool might end with a 'better season'.

I like 'em all so this is kinda sucky for me. But Everton have worked their socks off to be where they are and they deserve to be where they are. Who cares if it wasn't always fascinating football from them? They were written off completely when Shrek left but they've proven that hard work and team spirit still mean something in modern football. So I'm happy for them. And after being denied by their worst enemies the last (and only?) time they made it this far, it would be far too cruel to deny them again.
With that said, I do wonder how they're gonna come with the likes of AC Milan, Barcelona, etc when they haven't had any European experience whatsoever? It won't be at all easy for them. So maybe starting with the UEFA cup might be easier? I'm sure the fans won't see it that way, it's just something that occured to me.
Now that the FA has officially said 'Pool will be left out of the CL even if they win the damn thing, I just think it's such a ridiculous situation. I mean, forget the fact that the cupholders are supposed to be present in the next competition. Simply put, if they can win it (it would mean beating the team that have the most CL trophies, too) then they deserve to play in it again.
There must be some other way to resolve this. For the life of me, I have no clue what that would be, but it just seems so silly that having too many talented teams should be a problem.
Oh, and Bolton kick ass, too! :) Still, methinks the UEFA cup is a good enough start for them. Best of luck to Big Sam & Co.

By "better season" I meant better than expectiations. I mean, who would have predicted Everton for a UEFA Cup berth, let alone the Champions League? As for Liverpool, anything less than the Champions League would be considered a failure.

Liverpool, for no good reason other than I know someone who is on the team (don't know him that well, but it gives me some connection to the team)
