Who's to blame for the currrent mess of the stadium planned for Toronto? IMHO the Argo's have to accept the blame, if they we're not interested they should have stayed out of it from the beginning.

I blame the CFL team. I think MLS should pay the 20 million and have an expansion team in Toronto. Then sell the team in the future.

The Argos. Chances are their reluctance to participate is related to a land deal controversy at York University involving one of their co-owners:-

I would too have to say the Argos but if the stadium plans were scrapped because of them T.O. would not see the U-20 and any future games from Canada friendlies so luckly it got started in the first place

Actually Beast is to blame. As part of the market research done by the Argos, they quereied all of the canadian soccer sites and noted the disproportionate percentage of negative, soccer ignoramuses from Toronto and decided that they might be on the hook for more than just capital costs. So they bailed. The irony of course, is that all the negative Toronto posters are the same guy and his sockpuppets. Alas though, the CSA is on to him and have decided that they will either prevent Celtic from playing in Toronto or worse, make them play the U-19 Women;s team in an exhibition.
Sorry Beast, but if you want to neg rep me again you'll have to use a sockpuppet as Cdnbhoy has to spread some around after getting mad at my expose of his poorly constructed U-20 troll.

The CSA and the Argos should have known Rogers would buy the SkyDome. The theme for this forum should be "Ban the Beast" oops "Blame the Beast"

The beast is badly needed on this site. Why would they CSA try and stop Celtic from playing in Toronto? Maybe cause celtic could fill the stadium, while our joke of our national team can only play before 4,000-5,000 tops at home? We won't get into bimbo soccer, thats not the real game, FIFA president Blatter was right in one thought, people would take the women's game more serious if the shortened the shorts and made the jerseys a bit tighter. :D
