Hey guys i just recieved my copas and i need to know how to tie them. I want the tounge to be folded down and i want a knot over the tounge, but it doesnt seem to work because the laces are long, and if you try to long and if u try to put it an extra time under the shoe the laces become to short. Any help is good, thanks.

I had a pair a few seasons ago.Good purchase by the way.I still wear mines at training boots as they moulded really well to my shape.I just tied to them to my desired tightness over the toungue then trimmed of the excess so i was left with just a knot and 2 tiny pieces of lace.

Did you place the tounnge before the last hole, 2nd last hole? Also why over the tounge, does the tounge now stay down by itself?

Just try it out yourself and choose what you like best.I can't even remember what i did.Just fool around till you get what you like..same as i had to do!

I always exchange the standard laces with ones that are 90 cms.

I used to keep the lace through the top hole. Fold the tongue down. And then tie the lace under the boot and tie the bow behind the tongue that helped it to stay down. But your tongue just has to flop how it wants too. The longer you want the tongue the the more holes you need to not put the lace through. But like someone said just see what works best for you.

Ok, thnx, i just played my first game in them. I put the tounge before 2 holes and the tounge stayed down itself. Great shoes. I am now thinking of blacking them out by taking the 3 stripes of, but im not sure yet.
