Radio Canada are reporting that the Impact are getting a new 10,000+ seater stadium and that Edmonton, Ottawa, Toronto, Calgary, Vancouver and Montreal will be the host cities for the group stages of the World Youth cup.

No chance of a domestic fully pro soccer league. It has been tried and there are just not enough large Canadian cities for it to be viable.

The cities are too far apart and it will (and has been) too expensive. Each province should have its own pro-league.

Looks like Radio-Canada may have got the 6 cities wrong. Calgary pulled out last month.
