Today I parted with loads of dosh, I booked our airfares back to Blighty, and we'll be back home for the start of the new season in August, and hopefully in the Prem, but which ever division we're in August/September, I'll be there singing "I'm forever blowing bubbles" and I can't wait! :)

No unfortunately Howard, but I think we will eventually, we've got 3 grown up children, 2 in OZ and 1 in London, and both me & the wife are Londoners and it's about time to go back where we belong, NZ's a great country, but it ain't home.

Howard??? You mean Trevor.
Yes I feel a bit the same. I've been in OZ since 1971 but still feel the call of home. Will probably try to spend at least a couple of years there in the near future. However my kids were all born here and will probably stay here even though they have UK passports.

I just booked a couple of tickets to London on the 19 May. Only staying a few days. It only cost me 50 quid for both return tickets. Good ol' Ryan air. ;)

Many thanks for your most generous offer Howard, but after all the grovelling I went through to be re-instated into this prestigious high office, I feel morally bound to perform my duties to the bitter or hopefully sweet end, even my close friend Terence Brown said only this morning when he phoned me, "claret old son, if we make the play offs, I'll treat you to double pie & mash with as much green liquor as you like when you come home" That brought a tear to my eye Howard, roll on Sunday!!
UP THE HAMMERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
