I could try to mess with you and say that my audio was fine, but that wouldn't be right. It took about 3-4 minutes for GolTV to get Paul Breen Turner's audio to match up with the video. The audio was about a minute or so in front. I just turned down the sound knowing that they would get it corrected or just switch to having the studio host do play-by-play until it was fixed.
GolTV seems to be having some problems with their audio feeds lately (if you saw Real Madrid - Barcelona a few weeks ago, you know what I mean). But, as I noted in my rant about this past week's German game on FSC, right now I have more confidence that someone at GolTV is paying attention enough to quickly initiate corrective action. Does that enter into my mind when I think about which soccer channel I'm going to watch? Probably not. But it is sad that I have noticed it.
P.S. And why does FSC insist on running that "we're showing 1,200 matches a year" promo? Hasn't JSL passed along to management that BS forums have debunked that as impossible? [1,200 matches per year --> 3 matches a day, every day]. Or if they air Bolton-Crystal Palace 4 times in a week, do they call that 4 matches?
