Got WC tickets today?

I have been waiting patiently online in the "waiting area of the 2006 FIFA WC Germany tickets shop"....for 45 minutes now!
Did anybody had any luck with the tickets today?

nada.....tried for a few diff countries....either got error messages or waiting room

I got in right when it opened, submitted a completed application and then got kicked into the holding area. By the time I was able to load the page again all of the teams with a chance of reaching the finals had their TST7s sold out already. I also received that same error a number of times.

So once again given the shaft by the OC...I had 4 people going from different locations and none of us could get in after that first attempt. Seems somewhat odd to me.

yep...same here...about 20 minutes later I was able to complete ana pplication for Costa Rica Cat-3 TST 3 and the was kicked into the Waiting room...

What a bitch!

Also not to mention that I saw German TST-3's on sale....I thought they were all sold out...as a matter of fact if anybody, those should have been more sold out then anything....lol..if there could be a "more sold out".....

I love conspiracy theories and I know this isn't the case but it makes me feel better since i'm so bitter right now :)

what if the OC decided to filter IPs originating from the US because it was someone in the US that tried those 2 million illegal applications in the first round?

Wow, some people probably didn't notice that 20 up to 50 EUR of the paid money definitely will be kept due to administrative charges even if the chosen country won't survive the qualification. :D For example the tickets for Scotland already are sold out but I don't think that Scotland even will reach the WC 2006.

I was successful in my application after much reloading and waiting. Got TST-7 Cat 2 for Guatemala who've never qualified :confused:, but they have a shot. I'm doing a bank transfer and have yet to receive e-mail instructions with the accnt info to do the wire, so I'm a bit concerned. However when I log in and check my application things look OK. I hopefully will receive something from them soon.

I got TST-3 Costa Rica (1 seat). I left my CC at home so I could not try during the day. After work, I was able to get CR after a few attempts. My buddy was able to get 4 tickets to a game in Nuremberg from the first drawing.

I am new to this site and I feel I have found a home.

I thought I was the only person who didn't get allocated tickets in the first sales phase. I swear reading the email informing me my application was denied left me with an empty feeling. I have been planning to go to WC 2006 for 3 years. I am going regardless. Obviously I would like to have tickets before I go. In particular tickets to see the USA.

Congratulations to all who did get tickets.

What kept me from applying for Team Specific tickets for another nation in the 2nd sales phase is the fact that the team may not qualify and there may be some more TS tickets that go on sale this autumn. Once teams qualify and others get eliminated does anyone think that the WC ticketing comittee will put up for sale some TS tickets for nations that have already qualified?

If I am not mistaken this happened during the WC 2002. It happened without an announcement if I recall. Some lucky persons who just happened to be checking out the ticketing web sites were able to purchase tickets after all.

Any thoughts?
