If wishes were horses, beggars would ride.

If you can keep your head while all about you are losing theirs and blaming it on you.........

Last day scenarios:-

If we get an equal or better result than Reading on Saturday we'll be in the playoffs in 6th place.

If Wigan beat Reading (and we win) we'll finish 6th and play Ipswich AGAIN in the semis.

If Wigan draw with Reading (and we win, and Ipswich win) we'll play Wigan in the semis.

If Preston beat Derby AND we beat Watford by about 2 goals (and achieve a better result than Reading) we'll finish 5th and play Preston in the semis.

If Preston stuff Derby, and we beat Watford, and Reading beat Wigan with a lesser result that we achieve against Watford (i.e. we win 2-0 and they win 1-0) then Derby will drop out of it, We'll finish 5th, Reading will finish 6th, Wigan will finish 3rd. The playoffs will then be Wigan v Reading and West Ham v Preston so we'll be facing Wigan or Reading at Cardiff in the final.

There are several other permutations, please feel free to add you own.

I need a drink.

COME ON YOU IRONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It started out as a hobby but as Saturday approaches I fear it's becoming a lifestyle choice.

Also I wish the Reading/Wigan game was on Saturday, then we'd know what's required.

If Derby lose and we win, then we go above them on goal diff. Even it's 1-0. I think we have the same goal difference now, but they have scored more than us.

The trouble with that claret is we always bottle it when we know what is required.

I think this team is better going in blind with a must win attitude.

Like I said earlier in the season, this team needs a sports psychologist on call.
