Obvious choice for Favourite ITALIAN player at Chelsea is Gianfranco Zola ( i mean he is greatest CHELSEA player of all time , fans choice, somewhere i read)
The list of other Italians at Chelsea is fairly long.
Who's favourite I....TEE?

I put Carlo simply because he came out of NOWHERE (italian 3rd div side?) to become the best GK in the prem (last year's team of the season).

for me it has to be luca, good service as a player abit short, but he did a lot for us as manager,if fairness yesterday probably wouldnt have happened without his influances back in the day.and he still does the odd bit of chelsea coverage for sky and goes to the bridge just to watch pretty regularly aswell.
top bloke

Wasn't De Useless Italian? If he wasn't I'll go with Cudicini, by quite some distance.

Vialli was class
always had a soft spot for DiMatteo meself. Poor mans (or expensive for 4.6 mill) version of Lamps. Would have been nice to see him running around the pitch yesterday

Cudicini. For the same reason already mentioned about him coming from seemingly nowhere (though I think he was in Milan's system somewhere). Still the second best keeper in the EPL :D

Just looked it up.
Cudicini's career:
AC Milan
Como Calcio (loan)
AC Prato (1st choice keeper)
S.S. Lazio
Castel di Sangro Calcio (1st choice keeper)
Chelsea (1st choice keeper)
what a strange trip Carlo:)

There is talk of a new Italian joining since his club have placed a 35 Million Pound price tag on his head.
Money only two clubs in world football can afford to spend, Chelsea and Real Madrid.
Alberto Gilardino (Parma, FW)
46 Serie A goals in last two seasons, 23 in each season!!!
I want him at my JUVE but the price tag may chase away Luciano Moggi!

Tie between, Mr. and Mrs. Zola, with a shout to whoever introduced them, and Carlo the second best keeper in the league and first class gentleman.

Despite Vialli being a legend, I had to vote for Di Matteo for the '97 FA Cup Final goal! It's still one of my favourite moments ever!
If only he hadn't broken his leg... :(
