Diadora cleats- Are they getting larger.....or is it my imagination?

I just tried on the Diadora Brasil Elite RTX cleats and found them too big. :eek:

Considering I've only bought shoes that are size 10 1/2, I found it suprising. They are snug around the ankle, but there is considerable room by the pinky toe and a little room by the edge of the shoe and my toe. I've always found Diadora's to be a true fit, and if anything, smaller than the size listed so I was a little surprised.

Unfortunately, he had no size No. 10, so I couldn't compare the two. I'm afraid if I buy them online, they'll be too tight around my ankle. I've only bought Diadora outdoor and indoor shoes for the past 7 years, and this is the first time I've seen a disparity.

Has anyone else found that Diadora is now making their footwear a bit larger.....or is it my imagination? :confused:

i wear a 10 in k leather boots (adidas pulse and copas) but when i tried on a 10 in the diadora attivas they were huge! ..so i tried on the 9.5 and even those were very big...they didn't have anything smaller so i coulnd't go down anymore but i figure i'd be a 9 or maybe even an 8.5 in diadoras

I have always purchased Diadora's leather cleats and it's the first time I've seen this size disparity. :(

i have 10.5 vapors, AZT II, ksl's and a size 10 tiempo premier. i bought a pair of 10.5 brasils but they were wayyyyyyy too big. i sold them to a friend who wears a 12 and fit him nicely.

diadora cuts their shoes really big, i wear between a 9.5 and an 10.5 US in most normally cut soccer shoes but I wear a 8.5 or a 9 in most diadora shoes.

exactly....go about a size to even a size and a half smaller ...its weird how they size their boots but o well...

I just checked all of my old shoe boxes and all of them say 10.5. Did Diadora recently make changes in the cut of their shoes? How long ago did you guys try the Diadora's?

I'm worried about getting a 10 online and winding up with shoes that are too snug around the ankles.

I also had a problem with Diadora boots ranging in size

I bought a pair of Brasil boots in 8.5 and they fit perfectly fine, like a glove

When I bought my Italica boots in 8.5 they felt like clown shoes :mad:

It's funny I found this thread, because although this was two years ago, I still use both shoes because they've held up well, but I still get mad from time to time about it

I was just comparing them a few moments ago, getting mad again :D

My boots feel a little big too! But i guess its my fault because the guy at the store said that the leather stretchs out, but i didnt listen :p

Well, I finally did pull the trigger and got the shoes. I ordered them via two-day mail and didn't receive them. EuroSport said it was an internal error and is crediting my account for the shipping fees. I received them two days after that call.

As for the shoes, definitely comfortable as I had a chance to play in a match with them.
