England has 5 now and will add the North & South Conferences to go to 7.
Another new feature is the U-19 youth Cup.
Hopefully they'll get the reserve and youth sides in other countries sorted out because that has been a problem for a few versions now.

Amazing! I hope in the new game they fix the speed problem. It is slow in CM4.

Yay! Transfer market is open again! 22 signings this season, 7 players leaving. Hehehe. I picked up some superstars like Steed Malbranque, James Milner and Louis Saha. :)

I played a game starting with Fulham and I didn't like Saha, he didn't play well for me. This was in CM4 before the big move to Man U.

Loading time's were a bitch in CM4 plus that game just took up way too much of my time, the game developers need to create something more pacey and conventional.
Also I strongly believe that clubs should start with debt, and game objectives will have to incorporate goals that involve battling financial exhaustion as that is a fundemental part of the sport.

He was unsettled at Leicester after moving from Fulham, so I thought maybe I should give him a try at Crystal Palace for £500k. He's not playing that well. I may sell him again.
Right, my situation is this. My best centre-back, J'Lloyd Samuel, who I picked up from Villa for £1.5 million this season wants to move to Southampton, but I won't let him until I can find another quality centre back. I've managed to get £10 million for Andy Johnson and £15 million for Neil Shipperley and Darren Powell. I need to find another quality centre-back and my transfer budger is £30 million. The trouble is, all the people who I can get for that money say Crystal Palace are a too smaller club. I need some tips on who I can buy.

There are plenty of debt-ridden teams to choose from, if that is your cup of tea.

What year is your game in to? I have a pretty nice list of players in front of me but it would help if you could tell me what season it is :)

Actually, Rangers starts the game in some small debt.

Is this true? I've seen plenty of clubs get hit by bankruptcy quite early in the game. During the last 3 months in my Ajax game, 5 clubs went broke and were forced to sell off players.

I don't think it is.
There are different definitions of debt as well. In CM4 Newcastle starts out with a huge loan and yearly payments going out 20 years or so. There is no way to erase it, unless you can stick out the term of the loan as manager. This is debt. Their loan payments are manageable, but it puts a crimp on your cash flow.

CM4 is the game, but I'm in my second season as Palace manager so it's 03/04.

That just means you weren't commiting to any personal "audits". I'm always checking my clubs financial status by going ovetr the numbers and not to mention consulting my management reputation with the board.
I was just saying that I've never managed a team in CM4 where the club started out with "debt". I found it surprising because teams like Lazio are in such good shape financially int he game.

Anyone come across this: I was running my CM4 game, and then after finishing a match I noticed on my roster info screen that the player info buttons next to their name (FGN or yellow card or injury info) have disappeared. It's not life or death, but it's kind of annoying because it's that way in all of the games that I've got going, so it can be a surprise to select someone in the squad and to find out they've got a suspension, etc. I know I can turn off the "show unavailable" filter, but anyone know how to get the full info back?

Awesome!
However, it will be hard to get as there will be a million people trying. I'll wait until this weekend.

Wahoo! I can't believe what I've done! I've signed Alex, the brazillian left winger, for £10.5 million, and Ronaldinho for £15.5 million! I've also signed Frazer Richardson from Leeds, and he is fantastic. My replacement for Samuel turned out to be Man City's Danny Tiatto, with his brilliant skills at Left Back, Centre Back and Left Wing.

UK and Europe release date set, November 5th 2004. Don't know when MLS Manager will come out. I feel like I should wait for MLS Manager to support the brand in the US, but if it is a few months delay it will be hard. In addition I want to be sure the game will be exactly the same.
