Yeah, I saw,..very disappointing. Its going to drain the fun out of playing the MLS. Because all you'll have access to is current rosters and Regens.

No A-League in FM 2005. :(

I wonder why? It would be as easy as getting the Japanese second division.

Do you think they have to pay the league for the rights?

No J-League either, apparently.

I doubt the A-League would make them pay so who knows.

Any suggestions on where to order from? I've tried a couple but they either don't accept the credit card or like amazon uk won't ship the US.

gracias.

Are you sure amazon.co.uk won't ship to the U.S.? I ordered three DVDs from them a couple weeks ago and I got them just fine, no questions asked.

No J-League? What's the point, then?

So what's the last version that would have both the J-League, MLS and A-League?

Oh, they'll ship. I've picked up a few soccer books that way. They just have some super secret fancy code behind the scenes that says "hey knothead, I can't ship CM to the USA." Well, nicer words than that.

They won't ship software. You can buy books and other stuff.

www.footballmanager.net has the list of leagues for the next version of the game, due out at the end of the year... 51 in all. They have all the big Lat Am leagues and ones you might not expect, like Uruguay, and have expanded into Eastern Europe adding countris like Belarus. There's more Asian teams, though Japan is a glaring omission: probably a licensing issue kept it out.

They also left out the A-League as well. Althought that's been covered already..

That is still a ton of countries and I will probably play 10% of them. A-league would have been nice to find players in while playing MLS.

Life is good in the Premiership for my Palace team. Daniel Nardiello and Paul McVeigh are scoring goals left and right. Yakubu Aiyegbeni, my latest signing, is also doing well. I keep trying to sign Murat Yakin and Hakin Yakin, and both players can never get a work permit. How do I go about it?

There is nothing you can do short of becoming the national team manager for their country and giving them caps. I believe the rule is 75% of national team games to get a work permit.

I've started a long career campaign with smallish Melilla (Spanish enclave on the North African coast) in the Spanish D2B (third division) to see how far I can go with them. As my stadium only seats 12,000, I expect I'll need to develop a very strong youth program in order to survive in La Liga once I get there.

Ah, thanks. I suppose I'll have to wait.

Good to see that SI isn't teaming up with Eidos any longer.

England is going to have 7 divisions in the new game. That is huge. Italy will as well. Can't wait!

Any news on when a FM 2005 demo will be out?

Bonji

Ohh, it looks like the 23rd in a magazine. However, for us stateside I don't know if it will be at the same time. Anyone heard about an online demo release?
