Can't believe it myself. I kicked ass in the CL and beat PSV in the final after penalties (0-0). Where Benfica failed I succeeded :D

I played a 3-1-3-1-2, normal style. Counter attack and all men behind the ball.

Porto are incredibly rich atm but I've gone to Tottenham now. See what we can do with them.

Another fine young player is Ivanildo from FC Porto. And of course Helder Postiga (who is now worth 28.000.000 euros). Ivanildo (after 1,5 seasons) can be sold for a good 20.000.000 euros already at the age of 19.

I just won the French Le Championat with Le Havre Athletic Club on the last day of the season on goal diffence over PSG! :D Only took me seven seasons to go from division 2 to first division champions.

Now I wonder what the board will expect next year...

I just finished my first season as Pisa from Italian Serie C1/A. My board's expectations were to avoid relegation and I ended the season in 6th place, four points out of promotion playoffs. Now I'm just hoping I make a crapload of moolah off of season ticket sales so I can buy some new players for next season.

I just upgraded my system to Windows XP, went reasonably well but CM 00/01 is now saying I don't have enough system memory to load or start a new game! I have 1G of DDR ram, which was working fine under 98 before the switch, is there a patch or workaround known to fix this?

Tip: Two fine young strikers are To Madeira (Portugese) and Maxim Tsigalko (Belarussian). Each of these players can get you a goal a game.

I have XP and upgraded from 98 last month, but i have cm 01/02 and that is workin fine. Some of the data might have been corrupted in the switchover from 98 to XP, you might try copying your saved game files to the desktop and deleting CM and reinstalling it.

I don't think that will help, I've tried a fresh install on the new hard drive, and it won't even start a game from that. 01/02 I would expect to work, as it likely was released after XP, but I'd rather wait for either EP5 to finally fix CM4, or for 04/05 to come out. :D

CM00/01 works fine for me on XP, the OS certainly doesn't prevent failure to run on its own.

My first season w/ DC i took them to the MLS Cup.
Then sold Hristo. Played David Stokes, cut Barclay and Carrol.
Season 2, Traded Prideaux traded Namhoff for Edson Buddle. Won MLS and CONCACAF Cup.
Season 3. Brought in Paul Ince. , Todd Clark, Johnathan Spector. Almost sold Quintanilla to Newcastle. won MLS Cup and CONCACAF
Season 4. Won CONCACAF, Ince retired. Brought in Stefano Seedorf.
In Season 5 now....

I am currently managing Chelsea in CM 01/02 version. (before the wisecracks come in, yes I would like to have Roman's cash for transfers.) I acquired quite a few youngsters for little money e.g. Cherno Samba and Wayne Rooney in addition to the young strikers of Carlton Cole, Sebastian Kniessel and Leon Knight. I want to loan them out to D1 or D2, but cannot get any takers.

Is there something I can do to make a team interested?

Not really, the best seasons I ever remember for loaning out players was the period when I had a load of crap players I just anted to offload. About 40 loans in three years.

I forgot to mention I had Adu in the 2004 season and I sold him in 05 to Brescia, who later sold him to FC Koln. where he is now. In 2007. I made a Bid for him and the Germans wanted $61 Mil USD.
