or if you're an even bigger weasel you use the CM scout program...
The program that helps you find all the best players in the database and see all their hidden attributes, potential ability,etc...

I sort of use a scout program (CM Explorer), but I use it for my own players and I really don't consider it cheating. Example: for Celtic Stillian Petrov is listed as a DM. If you look with the player in the program all the positions have a 0-20 rating, 20 being highest. Well for him he has a 10 in DM, a 10 in Mid, and a 20 in AM. Well CM only lists one midfield position and it seems like you only need a 10 for it to register that the player can "play" that position. Furthermore it looks like DM overrides Mid and AM. So I'd been playing him as out of position as a DM for the longest time because I had no idea he was best suited as an AM(and he's listed as an AM in CM4). It seems unrealistic that as a manager I wouldn't know that, so I check these things. I also use it to change the secondary kits every once in a while just for the heck of it. Honesly all the "hidden" information is one of the most interesting things about the game and I love checking on my clubs reputation and other stuff like that too.

Cardiff were just promoted to the Premier League. It took four seasons. Hooray! Gained automatic promotion by winning and then seeing Bolton lose on the last day of the season in the 1st division.
Roma had their worst season thus far: 2nd in Serie A, knocked out of CL in second phase, lost in Italian Cup finals = no trophies.
Just finished fifth season:
After a slow start in their first year up in the Premier League, Cardiff caught fire and finished 5th in the league while producing the most goals of any club. They also lost in penalties to Arsenal in the FA Cup finals.
Roma captured the Serie A title with four weeks to spare, winning by 12 points. They then went on to win the Italian Cup 6-1 aggregate over Parma. Finally, they claimed their second treble in the last five years with a 4-2 win over Barcelona in the Champions Cup. Totti registered a first-half hattrick. Quaranta managed 7 goals in CL play for Roma and 13 total on the season.

EP3 is supposed to be out next week. Could this be the first time CM has ever had a bug free MLS???

Are there any patches that I can use to start CM4? I hear things about Crack CM4.04 but I've never seen where I can find it. Can you help me on this? I'd really really really appreciate it! :D

Bug-free? Maybe. Realistic? Still probably not.

The big debate is, honestly, is realistic fun? It's a game after all, and with limited ability to make changes to your side, it's a very thing line between realism of the simulation, and the end users enjoyment... hopefully the patch we're putting out will allow you to have a more enjoyable game, even if the realism is cut back slightly.

Well, of course it's a game, but playing an SMG that is realistic AND fun is the goal. Playing MLS CM-style less realistically is fun, but is playing MLS in SAAP ( http://www.machoward.com/ ), which is not 100% realistic but still a very good MLS simulation or USSM ( http://www.stattosoftware.com/ ) which is focused entirely on getting the MLS (and A-League) realistically correct along with some 'realistic' bonuses like expansion mode even more fun?
If CM was bug-free when it was released, profiled, your word 'enjoyable' might have meant that MLS was more realistically enjoyable instead of just enjoyably bug-free.
Also, are the Salty Dogs in the patch?

Havent had time to read back in the thread so sorry if im repeating but is anyone else suffering from progressively lower season ticket sales?
Im playing as celtic (surprise surprise) and were doing really well, champions league finalists, league winners, champ league semis, second in the league, smattering of domestic cups etc but in my three seasons as boss ive seen my season ticket sales drop from 6 million to 3 and now just over 1 million.
The annual gate receipts is just about the 30 million mark consistanly.
I know one of SI's aims in CM4 was to make money harder to come by but this would be taking the piss surely :)

I played as Celtic until about 2008 and never noticed it, although it helped when they expanded to 75000 seats. Attendence was consistent so maybe while seaon tickets decreased gate receipts went up.
