Possibly not my greatest season on record. Tried a couple of new tactics with the intention of scoring a few more goals. Largely succesful until the end of the season, but generally leaking too many goals.

A few highlights in the cups, 5-0 on aggregate against 2nd division Notts County in the League Cup, holding Premiership Charlton in the following round at the Valley (lost 5-3 on aggregate) and knocking Slough out of the LDV Vans with only eight players by the finsih.

OK, I played through the demo, and at the end it saved. Does this mean that I'll be able to resume the saved game when I buy the full version? Also, considering the demo only used the English league, will I be able to add 'active' leagues? I'm happy with QPR's progress (just outside playoff zone, 4th round FA Cup tie at Middlesborough after beating Liverpool at home), but I'd rather not play on with just England running.

It wasn't that fast for a start. I'm still playing CM00/01, so this save was started (as Hayes) just over two years ago.

I can't print the tables as I've recently passed through the update during the summer, having only saved, as I regularly do, my own progress.

Well I knew as much. I doubt if anyone's got to 2050 yet on CM4.

If you could do the 2120 season tables that would be very cool, seeing as we'll all be dead by then. (Just as a side note I've been simulating a pseudo-league for over 40 seasons using a certain PBEM simulator and saving the progress at the end of each season, but all of the teams are made up, so I'm really intrigued with this stuff.)

Has anyone ever heard of Ged Kimmins? In CM 01/02 he plays for Salford. I've purchased him in two seperate games, adn he scores like crazy. Right now he's second in the French 2nd division with 20 goals, adn about three or four matches left. I searched for him on the interent, and can only come up with a few old match reports. Anyone know anything about him? Is he out of footy? Why the heck is he so good in this game?

I played the demo and was a bit dismayed by the limited amount of play-by-play text while a match was being played. You'd get maybe 2 or 3 plays where the 2D would kick in and then you'd just watch a blank screen. Players would get yellow cards and the only way to know would be to have the stats screen up.

Is the real game the same as the demo in this regard?

I've started 2 games (both as the manager of DC), tried to sign Freddy both times, and he winds up signing for Auxerre or some Spanish team.

Either way, my scout said that he isn't good enough for my team!
So I fired my scout!

In US Soccer Manager I'm having to edit Freddy's name so nobody finds him before he's 16. If the name is Freddy Adu it changes it to a name that can't be generated and then changes it back when he turns 16.

Unfortunately he's the only 13-year old so far.
