If you feel the need to stay in the British Isles, go with Barry Town in Wales or Bohemians in Ireland. You should be able to stay atop the league with relative ease, though European glory will most likely evade you.
Otherwise, try Wollongong Wolves in Australia or, if you really feel like going out on a limb, Kyoto Purple Sanga in Japan.
Yokohoma FC is hard as hell too. won 4 J-league titles with them...damn S-pulse would never hire me :(
Any non recognizable side in Serie B or C1 A/B is a good challenge.
Bundesliga 2 is also difficult but fun.

West Ham: the game hates the Hammers, always get relegated. maybe they really do know something.
I think they've won more Premiership titles than Arsenal, Spurs and Chelsea combined in my current game.

I won several Euro titles with Stirling Albion...if you can move a team from the lowest pro league in a two team league and dominate Gers and Celtic...and then win the Euro Cup you can manage anywhere...

I just received a touchline ban!!!
"The Football Association have fined AS Roma $40,000 because of manager Giuseppe Harkes' comments to the media about the standard of refereeing in recent matches. Harkes will also be forced to serve a 2 match touchline ban."
What they don't tell you is that during my 1-1 draw at second-place Atalanta my team was given 6 yellow cards to Atalanta's one!!! No kidding I was going to complain!

I HATE that! It happens to me all the time as well. Fortunately it does not sem to affect the game in any way other than making the chairman less than pleased.

I got fined and then complained about the fine, got fined again, but the board went from very pleased to delighted with my performance, that, and then the FA recinded and said that the ref was indeed crap, bit I was still fined 80k and had a three or four match ban as well!
