He appears in some way to be merged with a Preston player (in division 1 when the screenshot - alt and print screen BTW, copy and paste into a graphics program - was taken). Noticed it when he became cup tied after the first game in each domestic competition, and is listed at two clubs per season. The record of each is combined, although fitness levels are as would be normally expected.

This just shows how crazy the divisions can get, given 70 years or so. Just look at that 3rd Division: Tottenham, Bolton, Ipswich.....MAN U? :D And from the other side, Yeovil, Chorley, Forest Green, Aylesbury...

Well, CM4 is looking very slick. Pity about the wait. Anyone got the update sorted. I cant get on the site (busy) and none of the stooopid shops in our scruffy town centre have the mag.

What I want to know is how a striker with 15 for finishing can play that many games and only score 8 goals? I've seen a midfielder get that many in 2 games, so this guy must be super-unlucky!

Marc is it true you guys are having trouble finalizing MLS in CM4?... I keep hearing that it might be released without MLS because of league problems?...

I keep out of the business side of the game (quite busy enough with helping make the game thanks ;) ) .... but I believe this is a storm in a teacup and will be sorted out in the near future.
From my point of view the MLS is fully implemented, including all 'unique' aspects of that competition (ie. contracts, draft etc.).

Just lately I've started having this problem on Champ 99-00 with my italian league game. It's about 4 1/2 seasons old, and now whenever I try to load the save game, the 2nd blue bar (i think it's Initialising Game Data or something) fills up one block and then just freezes. It's only this particular savegame that does this, but that makes it extra annoying because I've got a brilliant team and have won the double 3 years running.
Has anyone else had this problem, and if so what do I do?

Since Im relatively new to CM, Im not up on the lifecycle of the game/release. With CM4 coming out in Feb, anyone know when the playable demo is coming out, or when it should come out based on past releases?

Get a more up to date version.

Bear in mind the enitre Burton team above only got seven in 46 games, or each of their starter scoring once in every 72 games. And the top scorer in the Premiership over a season has failed to reach double figure.

Not really much help, but I've always been in the habit of alternating saves. Have had to use it some times in the past myself. Losing a few weeks is better than a whole game.

I downloaded and installed the patch and I've been having problems with the game ever since. I keep getting error messages during the season, but the game keeps going so it doesn't seem to affect it that way. But when I tried to reinstall the update and start a new game from scratch, I got an error message while starting a new game and the game crashed. I left the text of the error messages at home, so I don't have specifics on hand, but I was wondering if there were any other problems with the patch, when they would be fixed, and why it was released if it wasn't ready.

I only bought CM 2001-2002 today, but I can't play it yet as I have crappy screen resolution! I can't wait to play this game!!! Stupid screen!

I haven't had a computer for 6 months...until this weekend. Of course the first thing I did was install CM and I'm in second place with Dag&Red. More to come.

When the media praises a player, especially a younger one, is it better to parise the player or play down the praise. I have a young defender who won player of the month and then the media said he was great. I then responded with "yes he is" or whatever. The next match he was crap and got a 5 rating. Any correlation?
