Cause the game isn't just a data update, its a complete overhaul of the match engine, 2D graphical display of the match and lots of extra goodies.

CM4 will make CM3 look like something you played on an Apple II or a PC Jr.

I can wait till February for the mother of all games.

As one of the 'bastards' in question I'd like to indicate that we could have simply released a game in November but would prefer to wait until we feel its a game worthy of the Championship Manager brand that we've built up rather than simply allow it to be 'rushed out' for the xmas market.

I'm sorry that the game isn't going to be finished earlier, but I am doing everything possible to ensure that it'll be worth the wait :D

Tomorrow (thursday) we're releasing some 'work in progress' screenshots of the game, a video showing the 2D match engine running and a free update for CM01-02 which updates the player data and includes a new league (Korea).

These will be available both in a magazine (purchasable throughout the UK or online) and from our website (www.sigames.com).

Well, I for one am glad you've taken this stance on the ship date. It's a much better attitude to take than, "Ship the software even if there are bugs aplenty. There's money to be made!"

Sorry if this has been asked 1 million times before. Does anyone have an update/patch for MLS which would Euro the league? ie: relegation/promotion. I have read this is possible by switching teams from MLS/ALeague with some other league. I've tried this, but I screwed something up and had to reinstall everything.

Well the new CM4 stuff is supposed to be up on cm3.com. Looks like their site is down.

We've got a 'stub' page up instead of our full site at the moment which just gives access to the downloads for CM4.

The reason for this is simply that our bandwidth can't handle 600 hits/second which we're currently getting - sorry for any inconvenience ... once life returns to normal the full site will be back up.

It'll be in both CM4 and the data update.

The data update will be available on sigames.com (and via. the magazine on CD) - please be aware that we're recieving approximately 600 hits/second at the moment which has prevented us from running our 'normal' site (we've just got links to the CM4 downloads up at the mo) .... normal service will resume when things calm down a little.
