I dont know, its not looking to good. He seems to want autoris pay, and reward of 600 thousand which what was what autori would get for qualifyiing to world cup. On top of that, they only want to keep for 5 months and we know he wants a longer term contract. Things are starting to point to chemo or mosquera.

No man, dont worry, Chemo won't be chosen... anyways he already said that he didn't want the job and he thought that it should go to Ternero.
Chemo needs more experience... as shown in his stint in argentina. But eventually he'll be coaching la U and then the national team. ;)

He should coach Muni or a second division team FIRST, then maybe he could go back to Spain and coach Tenerife since they love him so much over there. Let the guy prove himself. His name and the NT shouldnt be in the same sentence. Not now, at least.

I dont think they are taking Ternero serioiusly. Just offering five qualifying games is not good for him or anyone. Just a desperate temp would take that temp job, is why I think ternero wont take especially if they dont meet his demands. Mosquera...hope your doing your homework just in case.

Chemo 2010 baby

The dirigentes will hit a new low if they fail to sign a coach with such popular support.

What kind of experience does an ex-player like Chemo need?

For one, he has prepared himself ... has MODERN experience, not like the viejas glorias ... and the most important, he is a WINNER.

Anyhow ... he is my first choice. Coaching any of the Peruvian clubs ain't experience in my books.

Ternero led a humble Cienciano to win the Sudamericana and Recopa. What has Chemo done as a coach?

I know what you mean bro. He deserves to be the coach. But knowing the Chemo player ... I would gamble on him.

It is kinda when Challe was the DT for the '86 WCQ ... you respect the knowledge he had as a player more than his real coaching experience.

Have you guys heard of Rijkaard and Van Basten? or Mancini, even Basualdo to make it more Peruvian?

well he did get fired from colon after 3 matches, that fact dosnt give me much confidence in his current coaching abilities, just look at colon now without pizzi or chemo

the current coach is using the same squad with totally different results

If chemo gets to be the coach, it will be a sad moment for us. The guy has no experience and he even got fired from his first coaching job. How dumb can we be to let him coach the NT?

LOL ...

You know there is more to this than mere results. Who put together that team, including gambling on the Peruvians there?

It was a matter of time before Colon got rolling ... but the fact that Pizzi and Chemo were newbies forced their way out.

Thats correct...I also think that he helped Colon out greatly by scouting peruvian talent...but i think that chemo would not do so bad if he took the job as an assistant coach in the NT, maybe the players and coaches would have a better relationship...
