Wow, just saw. Congrats fellas, hope we dont go nowhere fast with Ternero, lol. I'm sure he'll have more pride than Autori, and with that nice incentive I expect better results. I hope Ternero could make that Chile friendly happen, we need as many friendlies as say Mexico has. I swear Mexico keeps busy, they dont mess around. But lemme not sway off topic.

good luck to freddy hopefully the process for 2010 will be respected
btw its the dirigentes not the coach who get the friendlies, the coach tells them what teams they would like to play teh dirigentes have to make it happen

I'm sure the coach doesnt get them, but are you saying he has no say. I'm sure he could bring it up to the dirigentes, and more ganas than autori ever had.

how do we know that?... From futbolperuano.com, it seems that he'll be in charge till the end of this process 06... nothing in the article guarantees anything beyond .....

Lets talk strategy.
Who are Freddy's assistant coaches and how will they help the team.
What do you think Freddy is doing right now? (i.e. making personal phone calls to NT players and letting them know that the rest of their lives will be deterimined by these last 5 games)

Junto a Ternero estarían trabajando Víctor Bernal y Jaime Giordano, preparador físico y de arqueros de Cienciano, respectivamente.

#1 I read that too, but I dont know who they are. Im assuming they must of been with Freddy in the Ciencano days.
#2 "took Peru back" that sounds beutiful man.
Anyways: What do people think Peru's chances of qualifying are now?!

Let's hope that the change of coach does the same as it happen in the beginning of the eliminatorias with colombia, ecuador, & uruguay, got back in competition.
It will definitely give a new attitude in the team. Let's hope todos se contagiEn y digan SI SE PUEDE!!!!!!

autori did bring it up, i doubt he would have like to go into the last 2 matches with no friendlies before them
simply put the dirigentes couldnt deliver teh friendlies he wanted

and thats basically our main problem, it would be dumb of the federation to burn ternero in these qualifiers, without at least giving him the opportunity to carry on whatever the outcome

That's good news, now all we need is to beat Colombia away and Uruguay playing at home. If we do that, then maybe we will have a "chance" of qualifying. If we tie any game, forget about it.....

I hope all goes well, at least we now have a peruvian NT coach which is better. :D Hopefully he does the right things, and if he gets us to Germany then he's a hero, but if he doesn't I still think he should stay for the next WCQ.

From what read www.anfp.cl it sounds like it going to Argentina and Uruguay. A third match with Peru would good for both, as always consider its a classic in South America.
