What:
Come out and hang with Metrostars fans at Nathan Hale’s Bar and Grill Saturday, April 30th as Bob's Army hits the road for the first time this season. The Jersey AC Milans head to Denver to play the Colorado Inter Milans, (aka Rapids), live at 9pm ET on ESPN2. Our Frenchman stayed long enough to play a game (Djorkaeff), theirs did not (Grimandi). Surely, a win for Metro is in the offing. If nothing else, we owe them a beating for sending us a Balboa, with no Rocky.
There isn't much to say about the Rapids (4 games, 4 points, 4th place), but Denver got snow a week ago. Suckers! Seriously...why do people live in a place where the progress of Summer is tracked on a stopwatch? Moving on...
The Metro are looking to bounce back from an underwhelming 3 game homestand that saw them take just 2 points, but also showed some flashes from SGR and Djorkaeff. Metro are also looking to get their first win of the season, trying to pull away from Chivas, there only other team without a win.
