Last year, there were a number of exhibitions. Is that continuing this summer?

sorry it took so long to reply.
it was actually a 'league', but pretty minor- not professional. they canceled games at the end of the season b/c they said it had no effect on the playoff race. no joke, that was an official statement.
i went to a few games for the ny team, and there were only about a couple of hundred people there.
overall i guess any cricket is better than no cricket, but it was pretty bad. alos, there has been no mention of anything yet this year.
you can check www.bigcricket.com and read some of the opinion pieces i have written on the league, and click the archives for some of the previous ones. since i wrote them, my opinion is a bit biased, but i think they give a good view on the league ;)

I actually went to one match last summer... a bunch of us went together to check it out. We all had a blast.
What's the deal with the league? Will it be back this year? It's a good learning opportunity for some of us.

well, over at the uscricket.com forum, people have said 'stay tuned' it will be back. if it does come back, i will probably go see a few matches again but it seems like with the lack of news so far, it will be run in an unprofessional manner once again.

I heard USA Cricket was in total disarray and on life support. Is this true, and if yes, what impact does that have on this league? Was this leage officially governed by USA Cricket?
