All these players could be dead by 2006. Isn't it a bit early
yet?

yet?Early yes. But it's not likely they'll be dead. And it is likely that quite a few of those will be there and starting for their teams.

although ronaldinho is spectacular, there is too much offensive talent for brazil to single him out as the single factor. i think kaka could have an equal if not bigger impact for the team. also, whats with the lack of english players? dont j. cole and j. terry deserve mentioning? this just seems like a list of nike and adidas stars.

Don't be silly. This thread is for May 06, when we know the rosters
of the teams and at least have a sense of the players injured.

I think Rooney. I'm not his biggest fan, but he set the Euro championships alight last year, and by the time the WC has come, he will be even more experienced, and probably an even better player.

If utilized right ... Robben.

Of course not to mention Ronaldinho and Adriano.

RunDMB and Donovan are going to give people fits. USA wins it all, '06.

Rooney will be in jail for assaulting a duck who quaked at him. Next...

Lol.

adriano will perform the best or carlos tevez

I know that Tevez is a good player, but to be truthful, I've never seen him play.

It's like Pele, most people have never seen him play in a whole match, but they know he is brilliant, even Roberto Carlos hasn't seen him play.

It's all speculation so it's fun. The haters need to take a Xanax. We'll all be wrong anyway:). Here's the only thing I can gaurentee from this conversation: it won't be Eto'o since he will be at home. And he might be there with Henry the way that team is playing.

I agree with Tevez; he has an eye for goal if Pekerman selects him (iffy right now).

My pick Requilme. Playing great currently and has the space and control of that team that he needs.

Steven Gerrard not being an option is an absolute shambles.

ive only seen adriano play a couple times during the televised game against ac milan on champions league, and i havent been an exact fan of his work. u have to understand that he will have to play alongside countless stars who will be pressuring for more ball possession as they like to flash their skill. brazil is more individual work. i dont see them winning the next one. brilliance, of course. but they can be stopped.
