We couldn't beat them in WCQ so i can't really see the results going our way
this time either. Maybe with better officals we might snatch a draw,maybe?

NAHHHH ! Costa rica is back with the coatch that brought them to the world cup 1nce as a player and 1nce as a coatch in 2002
During this time , Alexadre Gumia did amazing coatching vitorys over mex and us and a so so time at the world cup .
Cr scored twice on brazil during the world cup with this guy ..
he calling up almost the same exact squaad to so CR Will deff win ...

The only benefit if Canada loses in this tournament will be
that Frank Yallop will finally get the sack, so do i want
canada success at this tournament or failure to see the last of Frank? Sounds like a poll question? :eek:

Yallop should be sacked after Canada did not qualify for Germany. Costa Rica will beat Canada with Yallop being Head coach simple as that.

Just curious, but if any Ticos are around this board, could anyone gimme some info on their 3rd choice GK? I don't know who that would be, and I'm trying to update my Winning Eleven 8 rosters :o and I try for the most part to have 3 GKs per team---I know the 1st 2 are Porras and Mesen, correct?

Why is there a thread for this match anyway?
Honestly, Costa Rica will finish Canada easy. Even if it's in Seattle (close to Vancouver) or Buffalo (close to Toronto), either way, CR will come out with the big W. I would like to see Canada have something going, but this is not the year, sorry canucks.
Let us try basketball :P or better yet, next year for hockey. :confused:

The game could have been played anywhere in Canada and we would still
get thumped by Costa Rica. We have a piss poor national side who should
have been forced to qualify for this tournament.

Costa Rica will win this one. Sequiera and Wanchope are a better pair than De Rosario and Radzinski.
